Feliz día estimadas damas. Hoy voy a participar con la primera pregunta:
Convertirse en adolescente, en adulto, cumplir 60 años...
Comparte un recuerdo tuyo de cualquiera de esas épocas.

Desde niña siempre fui metódica y futurista. Siempre me fascinó mi niñez tranquila. Mis regalos de cumpleaños y por Navidad siempre eran peluches, lindas y femeninas muñecas y libros para leer y pintar. Siempre disfrutaba de la compañía de las personas. Luego de terminar las tareas escolares nos reuníamos todos los niños, que vivíamos en la misma cuadra, para hacer competencia con las bicicletas. Por supuesto yo corría pero cuando me tocaba frenar lo hacía con mis zapatos de goma. De esa manera frenaba poco a poco. Cosa que mi mamá detestaba porque mis zapatos de goma siempre tenía que lavarlos....

Al llegar a la adolescencia quería ser adulta rápido para empezar a trabajar y viajar. Pensé en estudiar algo rápido pero la vida me llevó a cursar una carrera universitaria. Mi época universitaria fue fabulosa; conocí excelentes personas con las cuales sigo en contacto. Un recuerdo hermoso es que pertenecí al Orfeón. Y con el Orfeón hicimos presentaciones en diferentes ciudades. O sea viajé....de diferente manera.

Me gradué y busqué trabajo. Quería ser independiente y manejar mi propio dinero. Cosa que conseguí. Y.....seguía soñando con el futuro.....

-¿cómo sería mi jubilación?-

Planifiqué como de costumbre...pensé que podría vivir de las rentas, viajar y conocer otras culturas, estar unos meses en mi país y otros meses con mi familia en el extranjero, etc., etc. Todo se derrumbó. Hubo un cambio en el país, la economía está decadente y....yo tuve que reacomodar mis ingresos, inquietudes y pasatiempos.

Hoy con más de 60 años sigo trabajando en lo que puedo. Camino casi 3 kilómetros todos los días. Eso me mantiene en forma. Cocino lo que consigo y puedo comprar según mi presupuesto. Eso sí, puedo emplear los mismos ingredientes pero con diferentes sabores y en diferentes preparaciones. Y los viajes....¡Ah! los realizo virtualmente...

Mis pasatiempos de lectura y arte los canalizo en HIVE. Aquí hago collage, escribo cuentos, participo en iniciativas y concursos que llenan ese vacío físico. Esas actividades me llenan de júbilo aunque sean virtuales.

Como ves tuve que reorientar mi vida y seguir siendo feliz después de los 60 años.

Happy day dear ladies. Today I'm going to chime in with the first question:
Becoming a teenager, becoming an adult, turning 60?
Share a memory of yours from any of those times.

As a child I was always methodical and futuristic. I was always fascinated by my quiet childhood. My birthday and Christmas presents were always stuffed animals, cute and feminine dolls and books to read and paint. I always enjoyed the company of people. After homework was finished, all of us kids, who lived on the same block, would get together to race our bikes. Of course I would race, but when it was my turn to brake I would do it with my rubber shoes. That way I would brake little by little. Something my mother hated because my rubber shoes always had to be washed.....

When I became a teenager I wanted to be an adult quickly so I could start working and traveling. I thought about studying something fast but life led me to a university career. My time at university was fabulous; I met excellent people with whom I still keep in touch. A beautiful memory is that I belonged to the Orfeón. And with the Orfeón we performed in different cities. In other words, I traveled .... in a different way.

I graduated and looked for a job. I wanted to be independent and manage my own money. Which I did. And.....I kept dreaming about the future.....

-What would my retirement be like?

I planned as usual...I thought I could live on rents, travel and get to know other cultures, spend some months in my country and some months with my family abroad, etc., etc., etc. Everything collapsed. There was a change in the country, the economy is declining and .... I had to rearrange my income, concerns and hobbies.

Today, at more than 60 years old, I continue to work in what I can. I walk almost 3 kilometers every day. That keeps me in shape. I cook what I can get and can buy according to my budget. Of course, I can use the same ingredients but with different flavors and in different preparations. And the trips....! I do them virtually...

My reading and art hobbies are channeled into HIVE. Here I make collages, write stories, participate in initiatives and contests that fill that physical void. These activities fill me with joy even though they are virtual.

As you can see, I had to reorient my life and continue to be happy after 60 years of age.
