Unforgettable Day On Aya's Birthday: Double Celebration: Big Win as Golden Awardee.

It was filled with excitement, happy moments and unforgettable experiences this past week for our family and especially to our dearest Aya.

He birthday is last Tuesday May 6. In my last blog I posted that we had our early celebration. And last Monday, May 5, when Aya came to Babi's apartment every morning waiting for her time to go to school. Babi was making a cupcakes. Babi loves to cooked and baked. So she decided to make cupcakes for Aya's classmates. It's Babis simple gesture to share with other people, especially on Aya’s Birthday. We talked already before lunch I will go to Babi and bring the cupcakes to her school. Before that I already brought 3 boxes of juices.

We decided to make an advance birthday celebration coz Aya has a school contest. On the day of her birthday. Its the same day their class trip in Bradlo. She wants to join the trip but her teacher says she needs to participate the contest. And she made her decision to participate
Its the Smart Kids for English. There are 7 schools and each schools has 3 students.

She understood that this is an opportunity for her. Win or lose its all ok. No pressure at all and an experience for her joining the competition. She will gain confidence and memories as a student.

I need to leave for work early and Aya was the last to leave the house going to school. I gave her hugs and kisses before I go. And advice her, before the contest starts, don't forget to pray and I know she can make it.

Even at work I couldn’t concentrate. Watching the time, I pray silently that God give her wisdom and guide her along the contest.

Only participants and faculty are there in one room.

While waiting for Aya's message or call. In the Philippines, its 6 hours difference. So 12 noon here and its 6 pm in the Philippines. Our family gathered to celebrate Aya's birthday. Small salo-salo for them. Their waiting for Aya's call too. And I told them no need to wait coz I don't know what time it will be finished. They started to pray and eat together.

They just send me photos and videos. I'm so happy and grateful knowing that they cared for Aya. Uncles and Aunties sponsored the foods, drinks and decorations. They really wanted to be part of Aya's special day. Even were thousands miles away and time difference.

The moment were waiting for. Aya send a message in our group chat.

She won Gold Awardee in Smart Kids Competition. Out of 21 participates she's Gold. And two of them with a tie score. Its her schoolmate and the Silver place is her classmate. All of them in one school, tops them all.

I'm so happy. Not just me, everyone in our family. I want to scream for my happiness coz that time I'm in the bus. Going to post office to get my order for her.

We are so proud of her. Even my husband at work so proud and happy. And in laws too. The day of her birthday is a double celebration. Gift of life and wisdom. She says its the best birthday gift that she won.

Even she lost the contest, its all ok. Its pray of life. Not always she wins. If failed, she needs work for it and make it better.
