Have never really been into this anime. The follow up proved the series for some serious fandom, but still can't get myself to watch it and I'm pretty open to Isekai stories. Series like shield hero, reincarnated as a vending machine, or sacred weapon or even the legendary Re:Zero and even the funny chibi, isekai quartet.

Yeah the start is very funny and happy, but then you'll know what really happens. For example the scene of Rimuru killing 10,000 soldiers of an enemy country because they killed his friends. The skill he used was with a lot of thought and precision. And at the Light Novel you'll know that everything that happened so far and even more of what happened at the anime, was all because of something...
