It's time for the ZAPFIC50 Monday challenge. This challenge by @felt-buzz presented the opportunity to explore the prompt this week "enjoy" in an opposite context. If one doesn't enjoy something, then the feeling is akin to misery. I asked myself if I could enjoy an event at the expense of harming another person? The answer I shared in this flash fiction story that is told in the format of exactly 50 words. Enjoy.
My story is below:
Apprehensive pulse. Trembling hands.
The trophy burned like a branding iron.
But I celebrated with the team, smiling, accepting with heartfelt appreciation.
How could you enjoy this moment, cheater?
The words rang loud as Brandon's face flashed before me, flushed from severe diarrhea.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have played. No, shined!

Ha llegado la hora del reto de los lunes de ZAPFIC50. Este reto de @felt-buzz nos brinda la oportunidad de explorar el tema de esta semana, "disfrutar", en un contexto opuesto. Si uno no disfruta de algo, la sensación es parecida a la miseria. Me pregunté si podría disfrutar de un acontecimiento a costa de hacer daño a otra persona. You are right @beckyroyal. Enjoy activities with teammates and winning is a good thing. But cheating is never a good way to win. Causing a teammate to fall ill so that you can replace that person is not ethical.

The feelings that a past lover of our past lover (ex) could be so annoying that it can ruin your joy. In the story, She was happy and celebrating until the guy said those hurtful words
The guy on the team wanted to win so badly that he gave his teammate something to give him diarrhea so he could replace him. He probably knew he was a better player.
He was nervous accepting the trophy knowing what he had done.
