What does Women Empowerment mean to you and what are some of your personal experiences that motivated you to think/care about women’s empowerment?

For me it means not believing myself less than my gender partner, knowing that I too can and have capabilities, not being treated as an object or a simple pretty face because behind it there is also a person with dreams.

Really what has motivated me are the countless times that we have been underestimated by men, and no one else can tell me because of a simple inferiority complex that I cannot do something. So far in my life, I have seen women evolve, grow, be strong, versatile, adapt to changes in a society that is still sexist. Women have made so many changes and men for the most part remain the same. As a teenager I was sexually aroused by the way I dressed, being a teenager... My mother never told me anything about my clothing, one day I asked her about it and she told me: "I want you to be free and wear what you want." That day I understood that it was not me that was wrong, it was the world of men. One day I found myself telling myself that I had to be strong because I no longer wanted to feel small or afraid, I didn't want to become a woman who just nods her head and that's it.

Also for countless negative experiences with the male gender. One day I woke up and I think I started to be a different girl, I guess as a girl I started to be a woman, my attitude changed, I had more confidence to speak but by this I mean being in front of the things that I didn't like and supporting more things that really deserve it.

What would you like to say to young women today, what advice would you give them?

  • Focus on personal growth, nourish your mind, your soul and your body.

  • Never be enemies of another woman

  • Always have a hobby that keeps you physically and mentally active, otherwise depression could take a precious part of our life and we will not be able to get it back.
