Photos and funny names | LOH #183 contest week

Greetings to all ladies, this week is quite simple, let's see we have the following:

What was the last photo you took? Share it with us and tell the story behind it!

This was the last photo I took and it was taken this morning, I wanted to try out my contact lenses, plus I was also trying on a makeup base that I bought yesterday. I like contact lenses to use in my beauty content but I wouldn't use them for everyday use because it doesn't make me feel comfortable, but for the content they are beautiful they look like doll's eyes.

What’s the funniest actual name you’ve heard of someone having?

Mariko. It is the funniest name I have ever heard and it is because it is in the colloquial use of my native town, we use that word but we changed the K for the C, but we use it in a derogatory way to mock and offend but later it became customary that we used it to nickname any person as if it were the word friend, a catchphrase in all our conversations. The word became an adjective and a noun, now depending on the tone in which you say the word it could be interpreted friendly or offensive

Marico (spanish word): Male who feels sexual attraction to people of the same biological sex. And if we change the last O for an A, it is the same but applied to women

Thats a pretty Contact Lens, I want to experience wearing that someday, but I don't own one, and I think they are expensive too, lol. I want to try blue color 🤩. And you looks so pretty on that selfie, love the make up too.

I never really saw the contact lens because it looks exactly like your real eyes...

But I love your own lens, it's moderate. Unlike people who usually use purple, blue, yellow

Oh those colors, lol. Only for makeup content, I wanted to buy purples but I didn't do it yet because I don't have idea what makeup can combine very well

I see, Mariko is funny in your place. Hehe. Here in my country, the name is Marites. Marries in the Philippines someone who is excessively gossipy and chatty. By the way, you look gorgeous as always in your selfies. Best regards dear.
