Gratitude | LOH #167 contest week
Thank you ladies, we start the year with gratitude, as it should be every single day.
Gracias ladies, comenzamos el año agradeciendo, como debe ser cada día que despertamos.
Is there a person or a special moment that you want to thank for making 2023 a great year? Or could you simply leave us a few words of gratitude for this year that we leave behind?
This year I met 4 people more in depth, most of the things were good and in others they taught me to be careful, but my knowledge on a cultural level grew a lot. This year I have learned to relate better to people. I want to thank one person in particular because he has helped me a lot to channel my emotions and express them. I always said that communication was the basis of everything, but I said it, the person who when she had a conflict she would remain silent and it was very difficult, you know? How do you explain to someone that you want to talk about it but your mind is faster than your mouth and that anything you know takes thought at 600 miles per hour, that every nerve and muscle in your mouth tenses and closes the moment you decide that this time you will speak. This year I want to thank the person who helped me say "Ok, give me 10 minutes to collect my mind, I feel overwhelmed, and let's get back to the conversation." This year has been a very challenging year for me and I have a feeling that this coming one will be X3 but I'm prepared. I want to thank Mother Earth, I want to thank my mother for continuing to be alive and healthy for another year even though we are not together in the same country, I want to thank Hive, the entire ecosystem because in 2023 they supported me a lot and helped me achieve some goals, thank you very much, I would like to thank every particle that exists in this world but I suppose it would take me eternity to find out each one of them. Simply thank you to everyone who allowed me to become a better version.
¿Hay alguna persona o algún momento especial al que quieras agradecer por hacer del 2023 un gran año? ¿O simplemente podrías dejarnos unas palabras de agradecimiento por este año que dejamos atrás?
Este año conocí 4 personas más a fondo, la mayoría de las cosas fueron buenas y en otras me enseñaron a tener cuidado, pero mis conocimientos a un nivel cultural crecieron bastante. Este año he aprendido a relacionarme mejor con las personas, quiero agradecer a una persona en especial porque me ha ayudado mucho a canalizar mis emociones y a expresarlas, yo siempre decía que la comunicación era la base de todo, pero lo decía yo, la persona que cuando tenía un conflicto se quedaba muda y es que era muy difícil, ¿saben? Cómo le explicas a alguien que quieres conversar al respecto pero tu mente es más rápida que tu boca y que cualquier cosa que conozca, lleva pensamiento 1000km/h que cada nervio y músculo de tu boca se tensa y se cierra en el momento que decides que está vez sí hablarás. Este año quiero agradecer por aquella persona que me ayudó a decir "Ok, dame 10 minutos para ordenar mi mente, me siento abrumada, y volvemos a la conversación" Este año ha sido un año de muchos retos para mí y tengo el presentimiento de que esté que viene lo será X3 pero estoy preparada. Quiero agradecer a la madre tierra, quiero agradecer a mi madre por seguir un año más con vida y salud aunque no estemos juntas en el mismo país, quiero agradecer a Hive, a todo el ecosistema porque en el 2023 me apoyaron mucho y me ayudó a cumplir algunas metas, gracias de verdad, quisiera agradecer a cada partícula que existe en este mundo pero supongo se me iría la eternidad averiguando cada una de ellas. Simplemente gracias a todos los que me permitieron convertirme en una mejor versión.

Well this year I have expanded my palate and acquired a taste for wines, I have learned about cuts of meat and how to pair them, I also learned about desserts, and some cooking techniques, because throughout the year 2023 from start to finish I worked in a steakhouse. I decided to retire at the beginning of this new year to pursue new challenges.

Bueno este año he ampliado mi paladar y adquirí un gusto por los vinos, he aprendido sobre cortes de carne y como maridarlas, también aprendí sobre postres, y algunas técnicas de cocina, porque todo el año 2023 de inicio a fin trabajé en un steakhouse. Decidí retirarme al inicio de este año nuevo para perseguir nuevos retos.
It's a wonderful thing to be able to give yourself time to think before you react or respond to someone especially if that person can trigger you. That lesson/ person is definitely something to be grateful for. Deepening our connections are so important. Xx
