Today I'm gonna do something a bit different. I'm gonna let you guys see something I wrote that I like to hold close to me. I hope you appreciate it as much as I do. This is sort of an intro into a short story that I haven't completely figured out yet.

**The anatomy of John **

Hi my name is John and I am the imagination or more the physical manifestation of the mental state of my host body. I contain the deepest fears, needs and wants. He’s the poker face that was created to hide the angst of the host.
He could easily be explained by looking at a toddler with his toys
He will use you till he’s bored then move on and the moment someone else touches his toy he will want it back. That in itself is what’s wrong with him and causes him multiple tragedies.
He takes broken people and uses them for his own personal gain while doing that he uses the excuse that he’s fixing them but you can’t fix what isn’t actually broken. He gives people a new found freedom but berates them for it when they actually use it.
He’s a hypocrite, a monster all he does is take and take. He gives nothing back; he just leaves behind a trail of destruction. If left to continue he will break everything he holds dear. In all honesty it’s understandable why he acts the way he does.
I was created out of pure spite of my host and his humanity. The outside sources forged me the same way a weapon is created by a blacksmith. I am the weapon and my host environment is the blacksmith. He was struck over and over again. Insecurities, abuse, doubt, hate, sadness, love, disrespect, envy, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, spite and so much more everything attributed to create me. I contain every feelings the host has, I also contain the emotions that have been thrown at him from the outside world. He contains everything like a cup that is being filled over and over again. As we all know a cup can only be filled till a certain point then it starts to overflow, but I will never allow it to show.
I consist of the most basic instinct of a person. We could compare me to an animal that’s how primal I am. I just take for the sake of taking. I don’t care who gets hurt. I don’t think about tomorrow I just think about now. I know actions have consequences but that doesn’t stop me from doing things I know come with dire consequences I just shrug them off like nothing happened. On the surface it looks like nothing fazes the host but beneath all that. The fights he has with his inner self, the humanity still left in him, it chips away at his soul. It hurts him till the point he wants to explode.
Everyone he showed his true self to gets scared and runs. Making it harder for him to open up again. I am John. I am the part of his desires that he cannot share with the world I am his creation for him to justify his needs. The host will be protected till it’s too late to turn back for I am the part of him that protects him in the moment he’s about to get hurt. I am him but he is not me he is but a scared child that can’t tell the difference between up and down. I am the important part. I am the heart, the soul and the mind. Without me there will be nothing stopping him from spiraling out of control. Without me he will surely lose his sanity or at least what’s left of it. I am his protector.
