A picnic I am happy I did not miss: LOH CONTEST #146

When was the last time you actually got out for the day and enjoyed being with friends and doing something fun that you wanted to?

Hello Ladies😊, This week's prompt was actually very nice and something that mostly everyone can relate to.

Well I am not really an outgoing person, I like staying indoors in my house, I don't go anywhere except for school coupled with the fact that my parents don't really let me go out. But this time I was asked by colleagues to join them on a picnic.

I was very reluctant to go, at first I was very sure that I was not going, but then my colleagues kept pressuring me to come. So I decided to ask my parents first and surprisingly they accepted that I would go, but I said to myself that if it wasn't fun I wouldn't be going out again.

It was a friday. We had classes that were to end by 1 pm so we were to leave after class. We boarded a bus to take us to the venue.

It was an open field with a lot of trees and grass. It was a very nice place for a picnic, we sat on the grass, some of us that didn't want to sit on the grass as it was itchy sat on the big truck tires that were there.

Not long after we arrived some of us started taking pictures. As I said before I don't go out a lot, so I don't take pictures but the friend I came with forced me and I did take the pictures, a few though.

After taking pictures we started playing games. We introduced ourselves, then we started with the lemon game, where we were given numbers and the person in the middle started. She would add lemon to her number and call another person's number while still adding lemon to it.

If she didn't add lemon to it, she would have to be punished or dared. If the person's number she calls does not respond quickly, the person gets punished too.

During the game I was one of the people that forgot to add lemon to the number and I was told to dance which I am not so good at so I choreographed someone.

And it went on till we decided to play another thing, which was true or dare, while we were playing till it started raining so we had to go to shelter.

After that we played different other games, the refreshment came while we were still playing the games. It was fun and refreshing to be out with people, I really enjoyed it.

Bueno, no soy realmente una persona extrovertida, me gusta quedarme en casa en mi casa, no voy a ningún lado excepto a la escuela junto con el hecho de que mis padres realmente no me dejan salir. Pero esta vez estaba pidiendo a los colegas que se unieran a ellos en un picnic.

Fui muy reacio a ir, al principio estaba muy seguro de que no iba, pero luego mis colegas me seguían presionando para que viniera. Así que decidí preguntarle a mis padres primero y sorprendentemente aceptaron que yo iría, pero me dije a mí mismo que si no fuera divertido no volvería a salir.

Era viernes. Teníamos clases que terminarían a la 1 pm, así que íbamos a salir después de clase. Abordamos un autobús para llevarnos al lugar.

Era un campo abierto con muchos árboles y hierba. Era un lugar muy agradable para un picnic, nos sentamos en la hierba, algunos de nosotros no queríamos sentarnos en la hierba, ya que estaba picazón sentado en el camión grande neumáticos que estaban allí.

Después de eso jugamos a otros juegos diferentes, llegó el refrigerio mientras todavía estábamos jugando. Fue divertido y refrescante estar con la gente, realmente lo disfruté.
