Rising Star Giveaway #34: R117 Space Delay Rare Instrument NFT (ends 12/18)

Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I tried to get that Christmas Choir card for the seasonal mission and I had no luck. Given all my withdrawals from the game, I don't know exactly how much I earned but I do believe I earned at least 200k starbits this week. If I maintain this, I should have quite a few chances to get the cards and I hope I am luckier on my next pack opening.

I decided to giveaway one of the instruments released in the new packs.

The giveaway item is R117 Space Delay and it is an instrument under the Production music lessons. With 60 more luck, you have a chance of getting more drunk fans and it benefits you if you run piano lessons. Even if you don't run production lessons, it can help you in the rankings or you can trade it away to someone who wants it for something you need.

Current Status

As I stated before, I have been scrambling to get starbits so I can get that season mission card. Overall my week has been quite busy as well so I haven't had as much luck maintaining a perfect timing for missions. However the 200k starbits or so earned over the week should should give me 24 chances a week to get this.

I can't seem to find one of my screen shots as I actually got 2 E49 and 2 E42 instruments this week. Overall I opened 72 packs and I am a bit shocked that I didn't get a single Christmas Choir card. However I can't complain about getting epic instruments since every single epic card has a pretty small print value.

Current Goals

My ranking is up from last week since I added quite a few cards and I also got a bunch of new unique cards.

I think I can maintain my current rank or go higher if I open 24 packs a week. My time played seems to be higher this week but the numbers there seems a bit weird. Either way everyone is fairly close to each other so I can easily drop ranks.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
6. If you have more fans than skill and you want reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
