Photography Challenge Week #80 | Smiles
My Smiling 9years old daughter, Nariko.
When I read @justineparke New Week Challenge and that is Smiles which Im grateful. I instantly thought of my sweet daughter who always smile all the time. So I let her make a selfie in my phone this morning.
I know some of my online friends and who's also here in Hive community already know that she's extra special. She has Down Syndrome. And I want to take this opportunity too to tell that October is World Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Despite of her late development. One thing that makes our heart melt is her sweet smile every single day. She loves hugging each one of us especially her Dad coz she's a Daddy's girl.
She's a happy person whenever her wants is given, like she loves taking a bath, listening to her favorite musics take a walk around here in the beach and mostly riding in a tricycle ( a motorcycle with a sidecar). And her smile is unlimited if that all her likes will be granted all day hehe.

Sometimes she hit herself if her wants is taking for granted. Like If she wants to go outside the house and take a walk and we dont want her to because of the weather so hot, she then quickly hit herself. What we do is we play her music in the phone her fave music now is Cold Heart remix by Dua Lipa & Elton John. And in no time she will smile like nothing happen haha just look at her photo now.
If you have a child, relatives or know someone who has special needs. I'm sure they have their sweet smile too!
I remember the quote saying, Smile! It doesn't hurt.

She's a sweet kid like my son. Kids with special needs are easy to please and in return, they will give you their sweetest smiles and kisses. They are God's blessings. 💖🕊️🙏

What lovely smiles you've share with us. Growing up in the USA, my best friend for many years was a kid with Down's Syndrome, and although I knew he was a bit different, I was too young at that time to fully understand. Since then I have met many people in my life that have this condition, and every single person was absolutely sweet, genuine, and respectful.
Luckily with awesome parents children can thrive no matter the cards in life they are dealt. What a heartwarming challenge entry 😁
