Gender Reveal
Baby is one of the sweetest gift from God to a couple. Knowing about the gender is one of the most exciting part for the parents.
Last week my sister in law invited us to attend their baby's gender reveal to be held at Dolores Farm Resort.
The event will be attended by the family and closest friends of the couple, so I said yes.
Yesterday, Sunday, we travel going there and we reach the place at around 10 in the morning. I went to the place earlier because I will be assembling our DIY tic tac toe baby gender reveal.
The preparation
I prepared the tic tac toe board for the gender reveal.
We write our name in the paper printed with color pink or blue t-shirt that represents our vote, either team boy or team girl.
Others are preparing the decorations with color pink and blue balloon.
The program
When the family members arrived as well as the majority of the visitors, we started the picture taking.
After the picture taking is the prayer for the food and we had our lunch.
We enjoyed the delicious food together prepared by the couple as well as from their sponsors.
After lunch, gift givers gave their gift and give some clue about it. The gift is unisex and can be used by the baby.
Playing of the tic tac toe followed and this will reveal the gender of their baby.
The family and friends are so excited and most especially the couple. The husband vote for boy off course and the wife voted for baby girl.
Family and friends also voted and here's the result. Those who voted for girls are many than those who voted for boys.
They will pop the balloon and color pink or blue paper will come out from it.
The baby is girl. Team girl are so happy and much more the beautiful mother. She forgets that she is pregnant and jumped because of her happiness.
Swimming time
After the program, kids are so happy because they can now go and swim to the pool.
They enjoyed and had so much fun in the pool, swimming, playing with water and go sliding. They just stopped for a while and went to the cottage and eat some food and then go back to the pool again.
Kids really love swimming even the weather is so hot that time. I just keep on telling them to swim at the area with the shade of the trees.
It was a great, happy and fun Sunday for us. The kids enjoyed swimming, the parents to be are so excited to see their baby girl soon, and the family and friends are so happy and excited for the new member of the family.

I always can't make it early because Saturday is Sabbath day and I can use my cellphone at Saturday evening. So Sunday would be my time but yesterday we had this activity until afternoon.
Hopefully next week I can make it on time.
Aww such a fun and special celebration. Looks well organised and seems like everyone had a great time. Nice way to celebrate and find out about their daughter's impending arrival in the world. The tic tak toe must have been exciting.
The food looks delicious too.
Yes it is exciting that even me who knows the gender first because I am the one who make the tic tac toe also felt excited. We both scream or shout after everyone knew the gender.

I have never attended a gender reveal party, I think it is not a common thing to do at the place where I live. But it is a great way to get together, family and friends and celebrate, and have a good time together. :)
Yes me too I have never tried to attend this kind of event until yesterday. My sister in law asked me a favor to do the revealer for them. I don't have an idea about it but yes she explained to me what would be the ending part hehehe.

What a nice celebration it is and I can see everyone is celebrating this. I want to know if this is allowed to get the gender check by the doctor there.
Here in India, it's not allowed and we get to know about the gender only after birth. Needless to say, your post is nice and with some great pictures.
Yes, the doctor is allowed to check the gender of the baby. We usually go to the OB when our baby is 6mos to 7 months in the womb because their gender can be seen.
It is called ultrasound where the position of the baby can be seen as well as their condition.
Another advantage is that parents will know what things to buy for the baby. Example blue for boy and pink for girl.
It seems like you had such a wonderful time with them sharing in their happiness.
