Abandoned Hearts show the juxtaposition of decaying ruins and lost love. An emotional state thrown up against physical matter. Love may mean something different for some than it does for others. All love needs care and repair or it may dwindle and decay.

A series of digital surreal and abstract art.

Hey super cool i always love purple and pretty blue greens. love it. How cool would that look actually up on a wall :-) What program do you draw in? (I assume digital drawing as you say digital, but naturally i'm guessing) :-)

This series is actually AI assisted. I also use GIMP since its free and so far does everything Photoshop can do from what I've seen. Right now, I am mostly working with AI software to learn how to manipulate the programs better and spray paint in IRL.

I play in Gimp... I do a lot in the free programs. I like KRITA as well as it has the awesome wrap around function for seamless designs. Photoshop is just too expensive. I also use Inscape if i want vector stuff. Happy creating vibes to you!

Hey :) Another nice piece! How many are/will be in the Abandoned Heart series? And why have you decided to make them 400x400 pixels? I'd love to see these larger scale, especially if I bought the NFT. They look so cool and look fine on OpenSea/wallet, but this is early for NFTs and there'll be something coming to view/show your NFTs in different ways. 400x400 not putting me off buying, but just wondering. Thx

I like the bite sized pieces. I do make larger ones. The size is also a reason I keep the prices lower instead of trying to ask for way too much like some people.

How many? Not sure yet, I have a couple hundred I am filtering through. It takes a lot of work to get the few I actually put out.

I do have some larger ones that are not up yet. They'll be like $10 pr $15 instead of $5 to $6, of course I also take offers so it always depends on the piece.

Cool :) But as someone who's going to buy one, or a few of these (just waiting for Gas to lower a little to make some ETH transfers) I'd be just as happy paying $10 to $15 as I am $5 or $6, and the higher pixel count would make them more attractive IMO. That said, there are one or two of the existing I really love, so will be buying those anyway. Really nice work :)

Most people coming into the scene dont want to pay much at all. They want to drop a few $ the first time or so.

The images look how I want them to look. Pixel count also doens't seem to be a concern in an industry where most of the money is in pixel art collectibles.

No gas fees on Polygon.

Yeah, but you gotta convert ETH across to Polygon on OpenSea which means a Gas transaction. So I'm going to convert a decent (for me) amount across so I can buy Gas free on Polygon NFTs. Damn gas prices!

Oh yeah. Good point. Didnt think about that if you didnt have any on your wallet yet.. duh me.

Yeah, the gas issue needs to be solved. I get that it's not easy. I should had bought Eth when it first dropped. I remember it being developed. I thought it could get to the value (compared to the crypto market) it has now but I didn't think this gas shit would get out of hand like this. I have no doubts it'll get fixed but when I dont know. Same with the PoW vs PoS issues.

More people should accept DAI on OpenSea. I'm not sure if there's any issues with it. I havent dealt with it since I put some on a Coinbase account when I needed a stable.

BTW, the free NFT drops I am doing are larger ;) No huge images but larger than the Abandonded Hearts. I am looking into purchasing some software that will allow me to do the samething at whatever size I want.

Brilliant...have my fingers crossed for that. Is it the ocean NFT I saw you post the other day, or part of that collection? What AI software are you using to gen the Abandoned Hearts series?

The Defend the Seas NFT is free to the first 100 people, look up @defendtheseasnfts on instagram or @defendtheseas here. They are still building their account here on Hive. The batch I am giving away is a different series.

I am using Night Cafe right now, https://nightcafe.studio/discount/JENSENART

Simple text to image but it takes a lot of work to get images I actually want. Somethings come out really easy but other things are difficult to create. I'm trying to do a series of surreal looking theme parks and rides, but it takes days for me to get a good image. Not that I am working literally 24 hours a day, but I only have so much time/credits. All more reason for me to buy software. But Night Cafe is a good start to get a feel for image to text or if you have an image you want to make look like a painting. They have some good image to paining (or image to style or whatever they call it) on their site too. Most AI art software you will probably see right now is just image to style.

Cool, thank you so much. Will have to check this out. Sounds interesting, I've not looked into AI image generators before :)

AI art is really popular right now on Hive. Try out some very descriptive lines when doing text to image vs a single word.

My other AI/digital art series are larger actually. I just like the bite sized hearts I guess. If you see a 400x400 piece you want but want a larger one, let me know.
