My version of the Evolved Electric Rabbit

Arte final Electric Rabbit.jpg

Yesterday, I came across a nice art contest, pre-launch of a new game within the Hive ecosystem. Even though I haven't drawn in a long time (neither traditional nor digital), it caught my attention. Maybe it's because of the striking appearance of its four initial characters, because to be honest, I still have to read the game's white paper to have a clear idea of it. I suppose that as the game progresses, the characters will also increase or the different states in which the four colorful animals will evolve: Rabbit, Raccoon, Whale and wolf with their respective characteristics.

What the challenge is about, if I understood correctly, is to draw the evolved or transformed version of one of them. I chose the Electric Rabbit, and I imagined what an adult or vitaminized version full of power would be like. I must confess that it was very difficult for me to use the latest version of Krita this time, and I had to settle for the sketch and paint it as I did as a child.

Without realizing it, I passed midnight, between frustrated trying to ink the hand-drawn sketch unsuccessfully and following old tutorials on digital art techniques and tool handling. In the end, I decided to go back to childhood with my daughter's colored pencils and double-tip markers, who still loves to draw even as an adult.

I confess, the first sketch turned out like a child who enters school, and my daughter got involved based on my idea to improve it. Of course, in the end, I wasn't going to miss the fun and did my work with joy, which I share with you snapshots of the process until the final art. It won't be a splendid work, but I had a lot of fun waking up that child that we all carry asleep inside.

Thank you very much for encouraging me through this great idea to reconnect with my childhood self. By the way, I said to myself, why not, get involved in the game once it is in operation.

Bravo! I celebrate your fun and applaud the decision, when you draw the adult, evolved and enhanced electric rabbit, you will paint it with pants.

Good luck.

Thank you my friend. Every once in a while you have to bring out the repressed child to have fun like you used to.

Greetings.

Hello, @chacald.dcymt

Thank you, I did the best I could, and had fun in the process. I hope to reconnect with my inner child and give him the opportunity to follow the truncated path. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your cyberpunk raccoon, it's great.

Greetings.

Yes, do you think so? I enjoyed it very much, and the reason for the contest, aroused my curiosity about the game they promote. I'm already looking into it.

Thanks for your kind words.
