NeedleWork Your Jeans Contest: 🩷 Precious bandolero/Precioso bandolero❤️

Hello dear friends of the #NeedleWorkMonday community, it's a pleasure to be here participating in the #NeedleWorkYourJeans Contest. I am happy to present you with a recycling project of this kind and very versatile material, I am already starting to do this kind of work, which is to take advantage of a material that still has a lot of life and that is no longer used due to the expense of the fabric in certain places because the model is out of fashion or because our size has changed. This transformation is exciting several parts of this jeans fabric, plus crochet thread in fuchsia and purple colors, are in the strip and as lace on the front of the bandolier and some flowers, I want it to be colorful, without overloading.

Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad #NeedleWorkMonday, es un placer estar por acá participando en el reto #NeedleWorkYourJeans Contest. Estoy feliz de presentarles un proyecto de reciclaje de este material bondadoso y muy versátil, ya estoy comenzando hacer este tipo de trabajo, que consiste en sacarle el provecho a un material que aún tiene mucha vida y que se deja de usar debido al gasto de la tela en ciertos lugares, porque el modelo está fuera de moda o porque nuestra talla se ha modificado. Esta transformación es emocionante varias partes de esta tela de jeans, más hilo crochet en colores fucsia y morado, en la tira y como encaje en el frente del bandolero y unas flores, quiero que sea vistoso, sin recargar.

• Among the remnants of a pair of jeans, I chose two 10x11 cm scraps. And a piece of 20x20 cm that contained a pocket.
• First I sewed the two 10x11 cm rectangles, forming a square of 20x20 cm.
• Then take the pocket piece, with the previous square and sew the sides and bottom.
• Then the corners are sewn at 2 cm to give the depth of the bag.
• Sew the edge at the top.
• Two handles are made and sewn on the sides.

• Entre los restos de un jeans, escogí dos retazos 10x11 cm. Y un retazo de 20x20 cm que contenía un bolsillo.
• Primero cosí los dos rectángulos de 10x11 cm, formando un cuadrado de 20x20 cm.
• Luego se toma la pieza del bolsillo, con el cuadrado anterior y se cose los laterales y el fondo.
• Después se cosen las esquinas a 2 cm para dar la profundidad del bolso.
• Se cose la orilla en la parte superior.
• Se hacen dos asas y se cose en los laterales.

• Row 1: 60 chains.
• Row 2: We turn, 1 chain, 50 single crochet.
• Row 3: Turn, 1 chain, 1 single crochet in the second stitch, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 5 chains, skip 3 stitches, in the fourth stitch we knit 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 5 chains, skip 3 stitches, and so on until the whole row is completed.

• Hilera 1: 60 cadenas.
• Hilera 2: Giramos, 1 cadena, 50 puntos bajos.
• Hilera 3: Giramos, 1 cadena, 1 punto bajo en el segundo punto, 1 medio punto alto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto alto doble, 5 cadenas, saltamos 3 puntos, en el cuarto punto hacemos 1 punto bajo, 1 medio punto alto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto alto doble, 5 cadenas, saltamos 3 puntos, y así sucesivamente hasta completar toda la hilera.

COLOR CHANGE TO VINOTINTO/CAMBIO DE COLOR A VINOTINTO

We cut the yarn a little more than 1 meter to be able to insert the colored beads.

• Row 3: Turn, 1 chain, 1 single crochet in the second stitch, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 5 chains, skip 3 stitches, in the fourth stitch make 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 5 chains, skip 3 stitches, and so on until the whole row is completed. I couldn't take a picture because the power went out when it came back on I forgot to take it.

Cortamos el hilo un poco más de 1 metro para poder insertarle las cuentas de colores.

• Hilera 3: Giramos, 1 cadena, 1 punto bajo en el segundo punto, 1 medio punto alto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto alto doble, 5 cadenas, saltamos 3 puntos, en el cuarto punto hacemos 1 punto bajo, 1 medio punto alto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto alto doble, 5 cadenas, saltamos 3 puntos, y así sucesivamente hasta completar toda la hilera. No pude sacarle foto porque se fue la luz, cuando volvió se me olvidó sacársela.

• Se comienza haciendo 05 medios puntos en el gancho, luego se hace 05 puntos altos cada 06 vueltas se cambia color de fucsia a vinotinto, así hasta hacer 100 cm, terminar con el otro gancho.

I sewed the lace, made a tassel and placed it in the center of the lace with colored beads. I glued the flowers. I placed the strap on the handles of the bolero.

Cosí los encajes, hice una borla y la coloqué en el centro del encaje con cuentas de colores. Pegué las flores. Coloqué la correa en las asas del bandolero.

And that's it, the bandolero is now decorated. I was happy with the result because I met the challenge of participating and I am also pleased that this is my sewing work done with the help of my sewing machine, although it is something simple. I am starting my vacation, I finished the semester and I passed the six subjects I had taken. I am already in the seventh semester. I am dedicating myself little by little to making crafts to clear my mind a little, besides participating in several contests. I'm going on a trip soon and I won't be able to post because where I'm going there is no internet or phone signal. I will miss you all. I wish you a beautiful vacation, I'll see you soon. Y listo, así quedó el bandolero ya decorado. Quedé contenta con el resultado, porque cumplí con el reto de participar además me complace que este es mi trabajo de costura realizada con ayuda de mi máquina de coser, aunque es algo sencillo. Estoy comenzando las vacaciones, ya terminé el semestre y pasé las seis materias que había metido. Ya estoy en el séptimo semestre. Estoy dedicándome poco a poco a hacer manualidades para despejar un poco la mente, además de participar en varios concursos. Dentro de poco me iré de viaje y no podré publicar porque a dónde iré no hay internet ni señal telefónica. Los voy a extrañar. Les deseo unas hermosas vacaciones, nos veremos pronto.
