Hello everyone this is my entry to Vibes Web3 music competition week 9, this week I share with you a song in Spanish that moves me a lot, it is "Alfonsina y el Mar" by Mercedes Sosa.
It is worth mentioning that this song although it belongs to Mercedes Sosa was composed by the Argentine pianist Ariel Ramirez and the writer Felix Luna, very few know that this song is a tribute to the Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni who committed suicide by throwing herself into the sea in Mar del Plata located in her native country.
You may wonder why she committed suicide, well the reason was that years ago she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent an operation where she had to undergo an extirpation of the right breast and this marked her for life and she could no longer endure her depression and decided to move on to a better life.
