Rowers on a yawl | PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 64

Hello, friends.

At the end of May last year, I walked along Kant Island in Kaliningrad. When I went to the embankment of the Pregolya River, I noticed a skiff not very confidently rowing along the river.

The skiff and I walked on opposite courses, he along the river, and I along the bank, and we met opposite the Museum of Fine Arts.
The first-year cadets of the Kaliningrad Fisheries College were sitting on the oars; apparently they were having boat practice.

The Museum of Fine Arts is located in a building built in 1875. This building was designed by the famous German architect Heinrich Müller for the Königsberg Trade Exchange.

The entrance to the building is guarded by lions with shields made by the Königsberg sculptor Emil Hundrieser.
