Indians of Ecuador in Siberia | PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 70

Hello, friends.
Street musicians - Indians in the Siberian city look quite unusual.

But perhaps the Indians came to visit the homeland of their ancient ancestors. After all, genetic studies have confirmed the hypothesis that it was the inhabitants of Southern Siberia who originally populated North and South America. These events took place about twenty-four thousand years ago, at the height of the last glacial maximum, when there was an isthmus on the site of the present Bering Strait.

But let's get back to the photographs. The picture shows guys from Ecuador, the ethnic Indian ensemble "Atipaj Runa de Ecuador".
"Atipaj Runa" translated from the Quechua language means "Winner". The group "Atipaj Runa de Ecuador" performs the national music of the Quechua Indians, ritual and shamanic melodies, as well as interpretations of world hits on traditional Indian instruments.

The musicians came from the city of Otavalo. In the summer they travel all over Russia with performances, take part in various music festivals, but during the frosty winter, they return to warmer climes, to their homeland in Ecuador. Also, the ensemble "Atipaj Runa de Ecuador" tours around the world and participates in folk music festivals in Latin American countries.
