What kind of food do you prefer? Are you on the "healthy team" or do you prefer junk food? Or do you just maintain a good balance between the two?
I don't really consider myself obsessive about healthy food, however, I am picky in my own way and prefer homemade, healthy food in most cases. I believe that junk food isn't good for anyone's health, but it's particularly harmful to me. At the same time, I'm quite disciplined with my eating decisions. It's no effort for me to avoid junk food because I simply don't have a preference for it.
I know I can't eat completely healthy. For economic reasons, and also out of habit, I tend to eat more carbohydrates than I should. This is because in my country we eat a lot of arepas made with corn flour, and we're also used to eating pasta as if it were part of our culture. However, I'm a person who stays away from most processed foods and junk food. I don't consume soda or artificial drinks. At home, we always make natural fruit juices, and if I have to eat something elsewhere, I prefer to drink water. I haven't eaten red meat or sausages for 19 years, so I don't eat hot dogs or anything like that.
My favorite food is vegetable salads with chicken or tuna, I'm not completely vegetarian because I eat chicken, fish, eggs and dairy, but I don't eat meat from any type of mammal, at the same time I always try to eat vegetables and fruits and I think this is something that makes me very happy, on the other hand I don't exceed the consumption of fried foods and I think that is not a problem for me, I very rarely drink coffee and I also avoid sweets because I do not tolerate them very much, so although I do not have a strictly healthy diet, you could say that I would choose to be on the healthy food team because I almost never eat junk food.

Realmente no me considero obsesiva en cuanto la comida saludable, sin embargo, soy quisquillosa a mi manera y prefiero en la mayoría de los casos la comida casera y saludable, considero que la comida chatarra no es buena para la salud de nadie, pero particularmente a mi me hace mucho daño, al mismo tiempo soy bastante disciplinada con mis decisiones a la hora de comer, para mí no es ningún esfuerzo evitar al comida chatarra porque simplemente no tengo predilección hacia esta.
Se que no puedo no como completamente saludable, por razones económicas y también por costumbre suelo comer más carbohidratos que lo que debería, esto a causa de que en mi país consumimos muchas arepas que se hacen con harina de maíz ya demás nos acostumbramos a comer pasta como si fuese parte de nuestra cultura, sin embargo, soy una persona que se mantiene alejada de la mayoría de alimentos procesados y la comida chatarra, no consumo gaseosas o bebidas artificiales, en mi casa siempre hacemos jugos de frutas naturales y si tengo que tomar algo en otra parte prefiero tomar agua, no consumo carnes rojas ni embutidos desde hace 19 años por lo tanto no como perros calientes ni nada parecido.
Mi comida favorita son las ensaladas de vegetales con pollo o con atún, no soy completamente vegetariana porque consumo pollo, pescado, huevos y lácteos, pero no consumo carne de ningún tipo de mamífero, al mismo tiempo siempre procuro consumir vegetales y frutas y creo que esto es algo que me hace muy feliz, por otro lado no excedo el consumo de alimentos fritos y creo que eso no es problema para mí, bebo muy rara vez café y también evito los dulces porque no los tolero mucho, así que aunque no tengo una dieta estrictamente saludable, se podría decir que elegiría estar en el equipo de la comida saludable porque casi nunca consumo comida chatarra.

Love that you are choosy about your good, healthy foods, but not being too healthy is good too. I love a little processed and junk food too. At times, they act as much of a cheat meal. Yummy Tummy got me thinking of bacon.
I think that the portions and frequency with which you consume these foods are also very important, nothing happens if you do it in moderation 😊

I think that besides being selective with food, I am also a frugal person, so for that reason I don't feel excessive attraction to foods of that type 😊

Yo aprendí a comer más sano desde que a mi papá lo diagnosticaron con diabetes y lo primero que le cambiaron por completo fue su régimen alimenticio, en verdad como dice el dicho somos lo que comemos y no esta mal de vez en cuando comerse algo no tan sano si te quieres dar un gusto, pero hay que ser muy responsables qué si lo vuelves un hábito estas poniendo en riesgo tu salud y eso no esta bien.
Desde qué aprendí a comer mejor y más sano hasta mi tensión mejoró y eso es algo muy importante, no te niego que a veces me puedo comer un trozo de Pizza, una hamburguesa pero si es hecha en casa mejor, la salud es un tesoro y hay que cuidarla.

In Canada fresh fruits and vegetables get expensive in the Winter/Spring season since they are largely imported from warmer places around the world. So too often I've relied on quick fixes that are not very healthy choices especially when I am very busy with work, family and caring for my roommate. You are fortunate to have access to fresh produce all year.
My Dr. has cautioned me to abstain from fried foods.
