Basically, Ecency Points also known as Ecency Social Media Tokens (ESTM) are one of the rewarding system on Ecency platform. Ecency users earn Ecency Points through actively engaging with contents creation using ecency app on given Blockchain, also by commenting on other people's contents, through delegation to the ecency community and upvoting. Ecency Points tents to represent some level of user's contribution and activity carried out within the Ecency community, each activities or contents made using the ecency app whether it's posted on the ecency community or not but mere using the ecency app or interface, comes with some ecency points.
