I'm not sure if this winds up being a pun in Spanish! My understanding is the your Mother in law looks like a witch and your girlfriend is adorable. Is there a double-meaning there?

Yes in Spanish it made more sense, but there is a saying here, if you want to know what your girlfriend will be like as a wife you just have to see her mother... ^^

Thanks for jumping in! I'd love to get some puns from you! Can you think of any haunted house-related words that have a double-meaning or that rhyme with anything?
Start by listing words, which is what you already do! you have horror movie, ghost movie...
the next step is to connect those words to another meaning.

Horror movie sounds like Hoe Row movie, maybe? Can you concoct a story about hoeing a row in a garden outside a haunted house, maybe? Composing the punchline can be the hardest part, but even attempting the pun is very fulfilling! Give it a try for next week, which I'm going to post in a few minutes!
