Good day everyone and welcome to my blog once again. So today I will be writing something different for the inleo monthly prompt and if you wish to participate you just click @leo.tasks and see the daily tasks for the monthly prompt. Growing up in the busy streets of Lagos has not been that good of a journey for me because I have seen my fair share of troubles but it was not always like that at first if I remember correctly.

During my childhood days before my late father left on a journey of no return in pursuit of bettering the lives of his family I remember vividly that the household was balanced during the time my late father was present. I was not born with a silver spoon but I know my father did his best and took me and my siblings to one the top schools in our area and food was never a problem at home, in fact, there were a lot of people both extended family and no family members will come and squat in my father house for some time before they found their feet.

My parents are very accommodating even up to this day. My mum keeps on helping strangers with accommodation even when I try talking her out to stop due to past experience she won't listen and keeps on doing it. So life was normal during those times until my father travelled to South America. That was when I felt what they called struggle for the first time. It was not funny during the first two years when he left because he was still trying to get things together so he would be able to continue providing more for me and my siblings here in Nigeria.

It was not easy for years as problems kept spurting out from one end to another. It was hard to pay rent and feeding three square meals daily was becoming difficult and my mom at that time was still learning a skill so basically she had nothing to earn her money back then. Things were rough back then but as the years went back my dad got his feet back and the problems began to fade away, but things hit rock bottom again when my late father got ill and later on passed away.

The thought that kept on buzzing in my head at that time was how will the family survive. Who will take care of me and my siblings? All these thoughts kept ringing each time I thought of my father passing. Family problems kept on coming back one after the other and there was no one else to turn to because most of my father's siblings could not pick up the phone to check up on their late brother's children and this broke up the relationship and the way I see them before my father's death, but today things are getting better and although I am still not where I want to be yet but it was not as bad as it was then thanks to Hive, which is why I will be forever grateful to this blockchain because it indeed impacted my life and family.

It was a challenging experience and I am glad to have lived through it because it only made me stronger and gave me a sense of responsibility at a young age. So guys thanks for sticking around. It was nice sharing this with you all. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.
