"Exploring the Relationship Between Humans and Animals: A Personal Perspective"

Greetings and a warm welcome to my blog today, I am thrilled to share some exciting content with all of you. So, without further ado, let's get started. Today I will be giving my opinion on the prompt for today on the Inleo March monthly prompt. It is a topic that I am familiar with and most of us in either way have interacted in your day-to-day activities.

The word animal is not new to many of us as we have seen, eaten and kept as pets in one way or the other. Animals are also essential for the earth's ecosystem and we as humans are often classified as higher animals in science. There have even been studies that human beings first originated from apes during the Miocene epoch era by scientists while in religion it is believed that God created animals and then created man from the soil of the earth.

Animals have been a source of food for non-vegetarians and have also been a source of raw material for making leather clothing, but in today's world animals are not looked at anymore as a source of food or material alone but now there is a sense of keeping and preserving them so they won't get extinct from the face of the earth. Lately, we have seen some activists protesting against the ban on killing animals for the purpose of consumption and although I get why they are doing this I still think that some of the protesters have gone out of line in passing their message to the general public.

They don't need to be violent and come on people's faces to force their views on people. Animals are now well taken care of at this time. I remember two years ago, if I am correct, when Kurt Zouma, who plays for West Ham United in the Premier League, was cancelled by the general public for kicking his cat. The fans kept booing him when he was on the field and it got to a point people wanted the FA to ban him from playing football because of the act he committed against his cat.

The issue lately cooled down but Zuma still faced some charges which were resolved. Different species of animals are kept as pets even the venomous ones are considered pets. Growing up I never owned a pet but I was opportune to witness a dog being taken care of by my neighbour. It was a genuine love my neighbour had for the dog and I saw they had a special bond and It was actually the first time for me to have a dog in my compound so it felt strange at first but soon on later I began to bond with the dog and sometimes I tried to see if I could order words to know if it would listen and reciprocate my words.

During those times I found out that there is more to animals than just eating their meat and probably someday I would love to own a dog or cat in my home. So guys that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

My neighbour once owned a dog and the dog was mostly at my place because I always have food ready for it. Animals are slovely

Dogs are animals I would like to own someday because of their resourcefulness.

I think you will appreciate them more when you have your own :) That's my experience anyway :)

In the future, I hope to get a pet but I'm not sure if a cat and dog can live together. When the time comes, I'll make a decision.
