Keeping my hope alive// LOH 156 contest

I am always hopeful that better days are ahead because why? Hope is that which keeps me on my feet and not in despair. Infact, hope brings me out of despair and I always look up to the sky and I'm optimistic about the next day, why worry when tomorrow can think of it self. I hold onto hope because it can help me go through the bad days and come out strong. Hope gives me motivation and strength to face obstacles and challenges that may come my way. Hope helps me see the better things that will soon come and to still keep in expectation of a change.

To create an optimistic aura around me and maintain it, there are certain things that I do. Sometimes, it can be hard for me to be positive. Sometimes, I just cannot help but be depressed because of what life throws at me. And other times, I am hopeful but lose it in the next minute. This is why I try to maintain this optimistic view of a "light at the end of the tunnel".

One thing I do is to make and build relationships. My friends are people I can go to when I'm down and they do what they can to make me cheerful again. Sometimes, it may not involve much talking but just listening to me talk. I believe in having quality friends and not just a crowd for no good purpose. It is important that you try to build relationships that can serve as a lifeline or support system. It is needed in times of dire need of positivity

To some of us, hope is a religious matter. So, in this case, we hope on God. We believe that there is a supreme being who can hear us when we need help, inspiration and motivation and he'll come through when we need him. For me, prayer is one way I get by when I feel tired or weak. It convinces me with a reason to keep going since a better day than s yet to come and soon, a new world will come to be where I won't have reasons to cry or mourn will be here.

I also eat when I'm distressed. Sometimes, it can be hunger that makes you sad and tired to keep going. So, I try to eat and rest... tomorrow will think for itself. I also see movies and then try as much as I can to be positive because honestly it can help.
