THE MAGIC GRASS RACCOON - HOLOZING CONTEST

Helloooo...

This is my participation in the Holozing background contest and for my participation, I chose the Grass Raccoon by chance because I wasn't sure which of the creatures to go for and my hands somehow just chose the Grass Raccoon even though I would have loved to go for something else seeing that so many people went for the Grass Raccoon.

Well, I'm glad I could at least join and I really do hope you like what I created.

I already had the plans of joining in the contest today and prior to now I've been trying my hands on different designs to see if I can do better and in the end this is the much I could.

So without further ado, let's see my process of how I made this background for the Grass Raccoon using the canva app.

The first thing I did was to look for a good background that fits the creature well. Since it was a Grass Raccoon, I thought a beautiful green background works best for it and so I went for that background.

I added the Grass Raccoon first to see how it fits into the size of image I have chosen. I made use of the 3:4 size and I think it's not bad but I'd leave that to the professionals to judge.

After seeing the background that caught my attention, I tried looking for other designs to make the background more real and interesting so I saw this frame and then added it to my collection, hehe.

I also looked for a leaf design to make the Grass Raccoon more delighted in his space 😀.

I added the Grass Raccoon to the background and this was how it was looking, it was pleasant to my eyes and I think that's because I'm not so good at designing, lol. But I liked it anyways.

Here I added the frame and the leaf to the image and this was how it was looking. I felt like the frame was making it look a bit unrealistic.

So I tried to add the leaves to the four sides of the image and this was how it was looking, a bit better. I thought the Grass Raccoon was too small so I magnified it a little and looking at it again I thought it was too magnified, I must be confused, haha.

Just when I thought it was good, I felt like I needed to add something a little different and I thought of a magic Pixel Dust!

I was not yet sure how it was going to fit in but I noticed the Grass Raccoon had it's hand stretched out and that was what gave me the idea of adding a pixel dust. I don't know if it makes any difference though but it gave me the idea of a magic Grass Raccoon who has the power of healing the sick grasses.

With that in mind, I decided to tweak the color of the leaves a little as if they were dying and the Grass Raccoon is giving back life to the grasses!
