A WOMAN’S WORTH- LOH WEEK 184

The roles women play in the society are often over looked and though we can’t pinpoint the exact reasons but we have come to understand that men are just given the attention more for some reasons. Sometimes I see some ladies that wish they could be men because they think that being a woman doesn’t benefit them in any way. I was actually once like that but a bit different because I knew it was a great privilege to be any gender but I think being a woman is more blest after all.

There are so many reasons why I think a woman’s role in her society are clear and the major one is the fact that without a woman it would be impossible for children to be brought to this world. Of course it is only possible due to the male but then we will understand better the work of the mother when we compare what they go through during the time of pregnancy. That is the major time you know how much of a superhero a woman really is.

But besides all of that, I think a woman’s major role is to provide support both to her children and her husband. I may not be married but then it is a common saying that behind every successful man there is a woman. Women are People that are always after the wellbeing of their families and they play a major role in helping a child become the best as they are mostly the ones who get to be with the children guiding and teaching them to what they need to know.

The presence of women in the society gives room for so many great minds to be born but in worst cases the opposite is also possible. A woman always thinks of ways to help those she loves and make sure to impact her family positively and to make sure no harm befalls them. She is always attentive to little details that the men might normally overlook and most times that helps her make the best choices for her family and also in extensión to the society at large.

As women, it is of great importance that we know how valuable we are to our society and how we impact the lives around us. As a woman you have a power that you can only use if you know of it. In the hands of every woman lies the power to either build or destroy so the question to any woman out there is, am I building or destroying? If you can be honest to yourself with this question then I think that will help you know what you contribute to the society as a woman and what you need to work on.

Of course we all have a role in the society and that of a woman is very important because it has in itself the power to build more or destroy also. We just have to decide what is it we want to do. I’m so happy to be able to share my little thoughts on this particular topic. I do hope this encourages us as women to keep striving to be the best we can because of how influential we are especially to the society.
