MCGI CARES LIVE EVENT. 04/09/2023

It was a powerful time in the presence of God. The MCGI Cares live event was a successful one as I was privileged to participate via zoom.

Important lesson learned from the teachings

James 3:5. As a believer we should be very careful of the word that comes out of our mouth. The tongue contains both evil and good, brethren should be careful of what we speak so that evil does not come out of our mouth.

1John 3:15. Believers should always embrace and love one another. We are all one in Christ,it is never good to speak evil or ill about our fellow brethren, rather we should learn how to care, love and show kindness for one another. Do not speak evil of your fellow brethren, be careful in your dealings with your fellow believers so that we will not end up offending anyone.

2Corinthians 2:11. We should beware of devil's plan to divide brethrens in the church. Divisiveness is the work of the devil, believers must be conscious of this and should not allow the plan of division come to pass. Brethren must all be united in one accord always for peace and love to reign in the church. Where there is division there is never a peace within and therefore believers must not allow it to happen in the church of God which is meant to be peaceful always.

Brother Eli talked about appearance and why it is very important for a believer. As Christians our outward matters a lot, it shows people who we truly are. You can be a Christian and your outward appearance is not corresponding with what you claim you are. We all know that God does not look at the outward but the inward appearance, but it still expected of us to put up a good appearance so we do not mislead or allow others to misrepresent who we truly are. Appearance of a believers really matters and must be taken into consideration at all times.

It is always good to do good. There is no crime in helping the poor and needy when you have enough, God will be very happy if you that. We are encourage to give to our fellow brethren who do not have much like us. The MCGI Cares team has lead by example during the course of the program and it is good to emulate them according to our capacity and capability. God help and strengthen us as we continue to do his work.
