Hive Images Contest - Show Us Your Photo Featuring the Hive Logo
Welcome to Hive Image's first photo contest!
Can you draw the Hive logo? Paint the Hive Logo on canvas? Make the Hive logo from materials? Render a photorealistic image using the Hive logo in Blender? Print the Hive logo on a sheet of paper and tape it to a wall? However you can display the Hive logo in a photo Hive Images would like to see it. To encourage you hive.photo is holding a contest for the next two weeks, ending on December 24, 2022. Show us your photo with the Hive logo in it! Prizes include HIVE, PHOTO tokens, and a special NFT.

Recently the hive.photo site added the NFT feature. Users on the Hive platform can now mint their photographs and images as NFTs and sell them for PHOTO token.
The First Hive Images NFT was minted by @hivephoto. The tokenized image is of a 3d printed Hive logo by @holovision. None of the five editions of this NFT are currently for sale. If you want one of the first five editions of hive.photo's first minted NFT you need to win it! Also some HIVE and PHOTO tokens are up for grabs.

The contest is straightforward: Show us your own image featuring the Hive logo by posting it on the Hive platform. Creative use of the Hive logo in your image is encouaged. If your image is good enough you'll win one of the five NFTS, some HIVE, and PHOTO tokens.

Contest entries will be judged by @hivephoto. Judegement will be based on creative use of the Hive logo and presentation.
1st place: NFT edition #1, 20 HIVE, and 2000 PHOTO.
2nd place: NFT edition #2, 10 HIVE, and 1000 PHOTO.
3rd place: NFT edition #3, 5 HIVE, and 500 PHOTO.
4th place: NFT edition #4, 2.5 HIVE, and 250 PHOTO.
5th place: NFT edition #5, 1 HIVE, and 100 PHOTO.
- Original work only. Please do not submit an image you've made in the past before the contest started or someone else's work.
- Create a post with your photo and a short (three sentances minimum) description of your photo.
- Include a link back to this post about the contest in your contest entry post.*
- If there is more than one image in the contest entry post the first image of the post will be the only image judged.
- Add the #hiveimages and #hiveimagescontest tags to your contest entry post.*
- Make a reply to this contest announcement with a link to your contest entry post. @hivephoto will reply within 48 hours to confirm that your linked post has been reviewed.
- Only one entry to this contest per account.
*Rule won't be strictly enforced if submission is made within 24 hours before contest deadline. @hivephoto will request in the verification reply that modification(s) be made to comply with the rule. Modification(s) to post can be made after the contest deadline.
Contest ends on December 24, 2022 at 2 a.m. PST. There should be a countdown timer included with this post. Contest results will be announced and prizes sent out within 24 hours after this contest ends.

Hive.photo will have a DAO set up in less than a month. Then you can make a proposal and request that the community vote for funding your next project.

Please what is this DAO, and how will it go about?
A DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) is a system in which a Hive user can post a proposal for funding and the community members with staked PHOTO tokens can vote on whether or not to fund the proposal. A few other tribe sites already have a DAO such as https://www.palnet.io/proposals and https://www.sportstalksocial.com/proposals. Those proposal pages' format is the way hive.photo's proposal page will look.
A full explanation about hive.photo's DAO will be posted when the DAO is set up.

I just read that are photos? Of images done in real life? I have a lot of modifications of Hive Logo for other communities and accounts. It´s ok to post about that?
It can be a photo or image. Virtual/computer generated is fine. As long as it's your own work.
