Recently i started praying the rosary every night again. My prayer is about personal growth and development. Na sana God will give me wisdom sa mga decisions ko sa buhay. I want to explore and see what it is out there na kaya ko pang gawin. At 25, i feel like maramai pa akong hindi nagagawa sa buhay. Lastly, i pray for maturity din. Especially in handling difficult situations.

or
If you have a 13th month pay bonus, how are you going to spend it all?
December is coming and for workers in the Philippines, that simply means 13th month pay bonus! Sana all. If ever you will receive this 13th month pay bonus (working class or not), what are you going to do about it? How are you going to make sure you will spend it all? For non working class, let's just assume you will receive your very first 13th month pay.
13th month pay means a bonus pay with the same amount as your monthly pay.
Yung mga walang 13th month pay, iyacc na lang muna. 😒

Pag ba may 13th month pay double pay matatanggap mo that month? Never ko pa na experience yan, but, if ever, I'll buy one thing that I want, lioe a reward ba for myself. Then I will also buy something for my three mother. I'll include na din treating them somewhere, maybe we'll all go to Calapan and visit the Mall in there and just enjoy even one day ba. And para mas masaya, instead of a surprise gift keneme, I'll let them choose what they want and buy it for them. And the rest, buy some grocery worth for month na and save if ever may sobra pa.

Im not one to splurge all my 13th month salary because i always believe in saving for the rainy days. I was taught by my parents to be frugal but also prudent when it comes to my finances.
For my 13th month, i might spend a maximum of 40% for my family and friends. For gifts, i learned na hindi naman kailangan mamahalin talaga, as long as its presentable and modest. It should also be something of meaning. Or i might treat my siblings to a nice meal at the mall. While for the 60% of my remaining 13th month goes to my savings and investments. I honestly dont need anything for myself kasi na bili ko na yung mga kailangan ko the past few months. But we'll see baka ma budol din c ate gurl. Hahaha.
@ruffatotmeee sa pagkaka alam ko po, pro rated po yung 13th month pay sa length of service nyo during the year.

Thanks for the tag @ruffatotmeee. With regards to your question about 13th month, bale yan ung another pasahud sayu equivalent to 1 month of basic pay din. So if kekwentahin mo sya, sum mo ung basic pay mo simula january to december then divide mo sa 12 months. So un makukuha mo. If ever na late ka na nag start sa company naman, like mga june or ber months ka na din nag start, pwede ka pa din makatanggap ng 13th month kasi meron prorated yan. 😊 (Ehe, hr practitioner here kaya skl)
Hmm wala pa ko naiisip puntahan or ireward for myself this december. Late na din kasi matatapos ang semester ko kaya I think di ko maeenjoy talaga. 😆😆

I bought my new laptop, and I'm so happy na nakabili na ako ng bago. Some part of it naman ay napunta sa tuition ng kapatid ko and also, ongoing yung isa sa project ko sa aming bahay, yun ay ang mapagawa at mapaganda ang aming cr ❤️
So far, kunti nalang ang natitira, but ofcourse I am happy and satisfied sa mga nagawa ko for my 13th month 🥰

Well, I work with Lagos state government in Nigeria, there has never been a 13th month salary to all workers expecially the public servant. The government don't value it's citizen as much like that.
What will I do if I have 13month pay? I'm saving it all because it is a bonus on my path. Christmas is a season that if care is not taken, you will end up spending all your salary at a go and in January, expenses like school fees and others might show up.
Save for the unexpected!
Hope you will experience that 13th month salary, it is not just a bunos because it is mandated with a law. Hope your leader would look on it and hopefully you will have that soon. Some companies would add another bunos on top of the 13th month if the boss is generous.

Typically (I think), Filipinos think of their compensation based on the monthly rate, as compared to other countries where they base their living on annual compensation. Anything received outside the usual monthly rate is being seen as a 'bonus'.
So for me, expenses should still be based on my monthly income regardless of the time of the year. As we expect December to be expensive (gift-giving, dining out, etc), I still try to make sure I am spending not more than my monthly income.
I see the 13th month pay and other bonuses as source of funds to pay out big ticket items like insurances, car PMS, realty taxes which are in time due for the end of year. So far, I don't have something big to buy yet this year, so after expenses and if there is anything left, then that would be sent to investments. :)

Haha, kuripot kasi ako kaya I just delay any big purchase (assess need/want). So ideally, itatabi ko muna 13th month to absorb any unexpected expenses listed above. Sa investment ko muna tinatabi which also includes safe and liquid assets like Money market fund as an example :)
Kapag may sale at need ko na talaga, dun ako nagtritrigger to buy. :)

Hmmm, 13th month pay? I am still a student po so I have no experience sa 13th month pay na yan hahahahaha but If may 13th month pay man ako, I would buy a guitar like right away. Matagal ko na kasi gusto magka guitar. Reason is i'm in love with music po and gusto ko na habang kumakanta ako nag gigitara ako at the same time. Another thing that I would probably spend my 13th month pay on is a music studio. I always wanted to make my own music and maybe do covers on yt but no no kasi that stuff is expensive. Lastly is a laptop. As a student napaka importante ng laptop, it would make my life as a student much more efficient. I can make better PPT's, Reports, Research Papers and what else ba HAHAHAHA. Hindi lang din sa academics makakatulong yung laptop, pati nadin dito in Hive as a blogger. Medyo ma hassle din po kasi sa phone mag write at mag edit ng blogs, there are times na nadedelete ko yung drafts ko because of misclicks so if may laptop ako medyo madali nalang.

Back then when I was still single, all of it was spent buying gifts for my parents, siblings that aren't working, and nephews and nieces. Then, will give cash to my mom and the rest will be spent for noche Buena and new year handa. Yes, we do have a lot of handa kapag new year kasi basi those days na wala lagi handa
Or it could be any project na bilhin namin sa bahay.
Now? I have priorities na so, will cut down the expenses 🤣.
Bigyan ko na lng cash Sina parents, no more gifts. Kasi I have to be prepare financialy Kay baby 🍼🍼
