What can separate me from my phone?

Source
Mid-week greetings to everyone here and beyond, hope you are having the best of the week already? My week is going well and am happy about the whole thing.

In this digital era, people leave more online these days, in fact there is saying I ways give, the people online seems to be more closer than those we are living with in the same house. As funny as this saying may look it is true to be because an average youth spends nothing less than 17 hours online on a daily basis.

Now to the topic of the day

There are several things that can keep me far from my phone which looks strange anyways. Let me tell you a funny story. When I was pregnant with my daughter like three months into the pregnancy was when I started my first online job with. So I was so sold to the job because that was relatively the first time I was doing a job online that I cashed out. Now I have myself to coaching others and going out for diverse promotion. Now the day I gave birth to my baby girl was on a Friday and every Fridays we go out on promotion which I was the leader of the group. That Friday I was just thinking of going for promotion and a second thought I decided to head to the hospital before deciding weather to go or not.... Then the sign of labour began but judging with the time the first baby took before I delivered I thought it was going to be the same then when the doctor checked he said I was already 4cm gone. What! He shouted and you are this calm? Now the point, he told the nurses to prepare the labour room and admit me, now the midwife had to put this thing for drip on my hand but before she succeeded it was war, I told her to allow me snap her hand and she did. When I got to my room I was busy chatting with friends. Not up to 1 hour I gave birth when my husband was told he didn't agree...I left my phone on the bed, immediately I have birth I told them to give me my phone. Then I began to dance because I love dancing.

So my phone is a close friend to me that I take to everywhere. The visible things that can keep me away from my phone for a shout time is child birth.

Secondly is when I am in the market. We know how the open market is, unless one is going to buy a specific thing and is more relaxed. But if it is going for general shopping that requires negotiating and bringing out the real market woman Spirit, phone just have to step aside if not so I may end up misplacing my phone

Another thing that can separate me from my phone is during my worship to God. When I want to communicate with my maker I try as much as possible to do away with everything that may distract me including my phone. A times during prayers when I put away my phone, I will just start recalling things I would have done with my phone. That's distraction already.

Phone is meant for me and not me for the phone, so I can regulate the way I make use of this phone.

It is a pleasure to be part of the Edition 2 contest for week 83

It is really important to dedicate yourself to God without distractions. I'm not particularly in favor of spending all the time on my cell phone, and I try to control how much time I spend. Sometimes we end up forgetting that real life is not what is on the screen.

That dedication worth more than a thousand words.

Thanks dear and I pray you grow in communion

Good to hear that you are able to understand that the usage of phone is for important things. Phone is beneficial until someone uses it for hours and hours spending time on it. That’s really nice that you can regulate the way of using phone.

Have a nice day 💖

Haha... It's such a coincidence that the thumbnail images used in your post is the same one I drafted in mine. Haha. That's hilarious.

You have a very good phone usage discipline. Mine is quite different though. Most of the work I do on a daily basis cannot be done without my phone or laptop so I end up spending a huge chunk of each day on these gadgets.
