It Got To My Nerves But I Had To Bear It//LOH Contest #157

In most cases when we have appointments to catch up with we do our best to keep to it and so we get to prepare on time in other to meet up. In anyways a times no matter how early we try to be someday come when it looks as if the time is been pulled to run faster than normal. Especially on Sundays my husband always make jokes that he don't know why the time goes faster.

It happened just last Friday we planned to do a journey for a program. Now we were in between options, whether to take the children along or let them stay back with a friend till we return. Now going along with them with take extra Preparation and they will also have the privilege to see their cousins. And keeping them will also require we always check on them which will result to a divided attention and my little girls don't appreciate staying with strangers so much.

At last we resolved to move with them which requires extra arrangements. It was not so easy for me because I was rushing to meet up 11AM because the program is scheduled for 1PM. As a wife, the cookiñg, arranging the kids clothes and seeing to it that we depart early is now my task to paddle with. Now the time now allowed itself to be pulled because before you could say Jack it was already some minutes past 11AM.

To reduce the story we had to move immediately to get a car, thank God we got a small car which was going our direction though it had to be picking passengers along the way. Now I felt as if I should go and collect the stirring from him. In my heart I was just praying for speed. We had to pay some extra money to the driver because we didn't want to waste our at the motor park though that is not advisable at all. At last we got to the venue before 01:20PM and the guests where so happy welcome us.

Being in a fix can be so stressful especially being in a haste with children. most times these children don't understand when someone want to meet up with an engagement or not.

In all planning ahead makes one to avoid several unforseen circumstances and to be on time for appointments.

Hi @hivedeb you experienced a real adrenaline rush with this situation you shared with us. There is nothing more overwhelming, exhausting, and stressful, than the desire to arrive on time to a commitment, with time against you. I'm glad that despite the eventualities everything flowed exquisitely.

My dear, with every stop by the driver I feel as if I should go pull the car worst of all when he mentioned transloading us, I felt cheated. But fine, it went well

That act of drivers picking up and dropping passengers along the way can be so annoying if one is in a hurry, I'm sure the kids had fun going with you and I think that is worth it.

When you are almost in a hurry to get to a place and the driver seems to be slow, we feel like hijacking the stirring and driving our way to the venue. I know the adrenaline rush you had while seeing the clock ticking faster and hoping not to be late for the program.

It's like a norm,anytime someone is in a haste,the clock will be ticking so fast.
Trying to meet up with an appointment with the kids is most times so tiring.

Though most of us try to be punctual and respectful for the time of others, unexpected things can get in the way despite exercising reasonable precautions. And that happens more than enough for me especially involving my kids.

It is nice you all got there. It is very annoying, and I don't like it a bit when drivers pick up passengers and stop unnecessarily when I am in a rush to get to my destination.
