SMAP Contest Round 160

Greetings to all the bird watchers in the community from around the world! I am sharing today my entry featuring an exquisite beautiful bird called the plum-headed parakeet (Psittacula Cyanocephala) that frequently visits our garden during March and April when the temperature starts getting warmer. These parakeets love to enjoy themselves with garden fruits such as mangoes and sapota. The photos I'm sharing are of a male parakeet with a bright reddish-plum-colored head and a small red patch on the wings. The female looks similar but her head is blueish colored.

Thanks to @nelinoeva for hosting and @melinda010100, @barbara-orenya, and @sagarkothari88 for sponsoring this community and its contests.

What a delightful bird, although I'm certain it is annoying when it is eating your garden ptoduce!

Interesting looking parakeet. The circle around the head looks almost perfect.

Here in our country there are such parrots but their face is not red, this species is very rare and beautiful.
