Good question to be honest. I use it because some people I know of using it as well. They vote on posts and there for you get some tokens back.

Hey @rentmoney & @herman-german I think the Cartel runs all the Layer 2 tokens with @token-curator type of usernames. They offer some of the highest APR's available and worth looking at their other curation accounts for the many tokens.
