WEEKEND THREADING CONTEST: A GREAT INLEO INITIATIVE ON THREADS

Initiatives refer to a set of actions, proposals, or projects undertaken to achieve a particular goal or address a specific issue. Just like in the case of inleo,there are several Initiatives that has to do with discussing various topics. Also, Initiatives can be implemented by individuals, or communities on hive and they often involve proactive steps to bring about positive change or improvements in various aspects of a situation.

In the inleo platform, there are several Initiatives running on threads and the one I am best familiar with is the inleo weekend mini thread contest that has been going on for a while now.

About weekend threading contest
The general idea of Inleo weekend threading contest is a means to collaborate with other hive communities to achieve a common goal which is to foster engagements and also build connections. There are several benefits of the weekend threading contest and some are:

• it allows for and increases engagement
• it allows for reasonable and quality interaction and sharing of vital information across threads
• Regular threading by involving in these contest can contribute to building a recognizable and influential online presence.
• I see the weekend threading initiative as a powerful tool for sharing valuable information, educational content, or insights depending on the topic for concentration.
• I also see it as a platform for connecting with people that have similar interests.

There are several communities on hive that collaborate with the weekend threading contest, even as I speak , as early as Friday they drop links to a new contest every weekend. For instance, we have the threading contest by @oliodibalena,the prompt for this week is to share our favorite hobby, also the @crossculture community has come up with a weekend thread on popular desert in our country. There are other communities like amazing drinks, afri tunes, plant power on hive, silver bloggers, hivenaija and so many more.

All that is required to partake in this initiative is just be a member of hive Blockchain and also be constant in threading, this is where you get to see more of these contest. Again, you just need to follow laid down rules which are peculiar to different communities. For instance, to partake in the oliodibalena weekend threading, you have to post a picture and also make a post about it, you also have to use the correct hashtags otherwise, your entry would not be valid.

REWARDS
One interesting part of this initiative is the ability to win prizes by engaging. The contest ends with the selection of best engaged and best entry, some 5 person's will win 10leos each , why the best 3 entry would win 1 hbd each. Also, you could get an upvote on your thread if Lucky, hence this would mean earning in hive tokens,hbd and in leo tokens.

For me, this has to be one of my favorite inleo initiative currently going on in threads, it allows to blog in short form about my desires, Hobby's, interest, my country's food, culture, music and so on.
