Ladies of Hive Community Contest #149: Momentos Bochornosos🙈 + Lo mejor de Septiembre👍 // Embarrassing Moments🙈 + Best of September👍
La verdad es que tengo varios días ausente de esta comunidad, pero hoy vi que tenían un nuevo concurso el Ladies of Hive Community Contest #149, en el cual hay unos planteamientos muy interesantes. Entonces tome la decisión de participar, y compartir con ustedes mi momento más bochornoso, así como también lo que más me gusta del mes de septiembre.

Comenzando entonces, con el primer planteamiento el cual dice: Todo el mundo tiene un.... ya sabes.... ¡ese momento en el que te gustaría meterte debajo de una piedra y no salir nunca! Por eso, queremos saber cuál ha sido tu momento más embarazoso. Bueno, entonces procedo a contarles sobre ese momento en el que dije textualmente “trágame tierra”, pues resulta y acontece que, así como muchas personas, yo también tengo un amor platónico. Una persona que admiro y que tiene el 90% de cosas que me gustan pero que lamentablemente es algunos años mayor que yo y que se encuentra en otra etapa de vida.
Pero en un tiempo yo no fui tan indiferente para él, o por lo menos eso creí; pero resulta que él tiene el poder de paralizarme totalmente y en vez de ser un poco atrevida pasa es que me convierto en una persona totalmente introvertida y callada. Ahora bien, un día yo entro a su oficina a pedirle una hoja blanca de reciclaje, pero el solo tenía blancas y me dice “toma una de esas, además eso no es nada para una morena bella y preciosa como tú” pero justo en el momento que él me está diciendo eso entro otra persona (un compañero de trabajo) y fue allí cuando he sentido la vergüenza más grande de mi vida y pensé de una vez en la frase “trágame tierra” porque desde ese momento mi compañero de trabajo comenzó a chalequearme (como se dice aquí en Venezuela) y más nunca me ha vuelto a dejar en paz.
Aunque parezca una tontería, ese fue el día que he sentido más vergüenza, literalmente sentí que mis mejillas se volvieron rojas como un tomate, quede totalmente paralizada y salí de esa oficina corriendo. Lamentablemente, siento que desde ese momento esa persona y yo nos volvimos distantes. Pero sigue siendo mi amor platónico jajajaja.
Ahora bien, tenemos una segunda pregunta: ¡Se acerca septiembre! Para los habitantes del hemisferio norte, el otoño está a la vuelta de la esquina. Para los del hemisferio sur, será primavera. Indica en qué hemisferio vives y qué es lo que más te gusta de septiembre. Para empezar, debo decirles que soy de Barquisimeto, una ciudad ubicada en el centro occidente de Venezuela en América del Sur; mi país se caracteriza por presentar dos estaciones denominadas Seco y lluvioso. En este momento estamos en ese periodo seco, con unas temperaturas bastantes altas ideales para ir a la playa, aunque aquí en cualquier época del año se puede ir a la costa, porque lo que caracteriza las playas de Venezuela es que son del Mar Caribe y siempre son muy cálidas, un completo placer poder bañarse en ellas.
Sin embargo, algo que me causa mucha emoción de la época de septiembre es que justo el 14 del mes mi ciudad natal celebra su aniversario de fundación. Esto es algo que a los guaros (nativos de Barquisimeto) nos cusa mucha alegría, además que se celebra con la realización de las Ferias Internacionales de Barquisimeto, que para este año serán desde el 13 hasta el 17 de septiembre, donde se realizan exposiciones agropecuarias, emprendimientos, exposiciones gastronómicas, industriales y artesanales; además de una cartelera musical, que le hace honor a su nombre como la Ciudad Musical y Artesanal del país…. ¡Ah mundo Barquisimeto!.

So, we want to know what your most embarrassing moment has been. Well, then I proceed to tell you about that moment in which I literally said "swallow me up", because it turns out and happens that, as well as many people, I also have a platonic love. A person I admire and who has 90% of the things I like but who unfortunately is a few years older than me and is in another stage of life.
But at one time I was not so indifferent to him, or at least I thought I was; but it turns out that he has the power to paralyze me completely and instead of being a little daring, I become a totally introverted and quiet person. Now, one day I went into his office to ask him for a white recycling sheet, but he only had white ones and he told me "take one of those, besides that's nothing for a beautiful and gorgeous brunette like you" but just at the moment he was telling me that another person (a co-worker) came in and that's when I felt the biggest shame of my life and I thought at once in the phrase "swallow me up" because from that moment my co-worker began to chalequearme (as they say here in Venezuela) and has never left me alone again.
Although it may seem silly, that was the day I felt the most ashamed, I literally felt my cheeks turn red as a tomato, I was totally paralyzed and I left that office running. Unfortunately, I feel that since that moment that person and I became distant. But he is still my platonic love hahahaha.
Now, we have a second question: September is coming! For those in the northern hemisphere, autumn is just around the corner. For those in the southern hemisphere, it will be spring. Indicate which hemisphere you live in and what you like most about September. To begin with, I must tell you that I am from Barquisimeto, a city located in central western Venezuela in South America; my country is characterized by two seasons called dry and rainy. At this moment we are in that dry period, with quite high temperatures ideal to go to the beach, although here at any time of the year you can go to the coast, because what characterizes the beaches of Venezuela is that they are of the Caribbean Sea and are always very warm, a complete pleasure to bathe in them.
However, something that makes me very excited about September is that on the 14th of the month my hometown celebrates its founding anniversary. This is something that makes us guaros (natives of Barquisimeto) very happy, and it is also celebrated with the realization of the International Fairs of Barquisimeto, which this year will be from September 13 to 17, where there are agricultural exhibitions, entrepreneurship, gastronomic, industrial and craft exhibitions; plus a musical billboard, which honors its name as the Musical and Artisan City of the country .... Ah world Barquisimeto!.

Well, the truth is, even my co-worker makes jokes about it, I think I will never stop doing it but I don't care anymore. Regarding the fairs of Barquisimeto, they are very good because we celebrate for the pride of being Larenses (guaros).

¡Jajajaj me he reído con tu anécdota!, claro, uno ahora se rie pero en el momento no, te leí y hasta me identifiqué, quizás la juventud, ser introvertida y falta de experiencia hizo que reaccionaras de esa manera, ¿Si eso te sucediera en la actualidad como actuarias?

En el momento no me causo nada de risa, la verdad me dió muuucha pena; pero ahora sí me causa mucha risa. Creo que si me volviera a suceder igual me daría mucha pena pero intentará decir o hacer algo.

Saludos 😁 eso de sentirse avergonzada por un cumplido que viene por parte de una persona que a uno le gusta es algo muy intenso. Más si otra persona presencia el momento. Sí me ha sucedido.
Y con respecto el clima, concuerdo contigo. Nosotros no vivimos esos cambios tan drásticos, más bien suele ser constante el clima, pero siempre se saca provecho de eso pues todo el año podemos visitar playas, ríos y vestir cómodamente sin abrigos y demás. Un abrazo.
