Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 147

The last feathered friends photo contest of this year! That needs to be a good entry then! I wil show you my best picture of a bird I have ever taken!

Its the Coppery headed emerald hummingbird! They are so quick but this one was sitting on this stick for a view micro seconds! I could take two pictures of him and then he was gone again! It looks like he was sleeping but I caught him while he was blinking with his eyes!

It is such a sharp picture and I really love the DOF here! the background has got a beautiful green color here!

The second picture I took was when he opened his eye again!That is a shame that it isn't open fully! I think the third picture is one of an empty branch! Thinking of that now, it would be nice if I still had that picture! it would be a nice trilogy!

I have so many nice pictures of this day in the cloud forest of Costa Rica! I will do a big post of all the birds that I spotted there in the future!

That is such a beautiful bird and lovely shots. The birds almost blend nicely with the background. : )

So much pressure 😋🤣 haha. Costa Rica is bird paradise, I took a lot of pictures of them.

It's a beautiful bird. I like the layers of its green feather on its neck part. It looks so pretty.
