August Weather Review From My Own Weather Station - No More Games
August and summer just ended so it's time to see who won the last game and how was the weather in August. In the last game round, you had to guess the strongest rainfall rate in mm/hr. Congratulations @littlebee4! You guessed 41mm/hr and the right answer was 32.4mm/hr. You were the closest guess, 10 HIVE will be sent to you! I only got two guesses last month, I guess many didn't really understand what I was asking for lol 😅.
No More Games
I think it's time to end the games at this time. By now I have hosted it for a year, every month. I have used up almost all the metrics I can make a game about from my weather station and now I'm just repeating every game so it doesn't seem that interesting to me anymore. Who knows, maybe I will host something like that in the future again but at least right now, no more.
Big thank you to everyone who participated over the year in this game and made it interesting!
August Weather Review
I don't know if I will be doing just monthly weather reviews going forward, will decide that at the end of September. Anyway here is the weather review for August.
Temperature and Humidity
The start of the month was pretty hot with the max temperature of 32.1C but end of the month was milder. The lowest temp was 9C at night. The average temp of the month was 17.8C

Solar Radiation and UV
UV is usually staying on 6 in the mid-day time, not getting into 7 much anymore. Sun energy is slowly decreasing but is not that apparent yet.
Rainfall
It was a pretty wet August with a total of 102.4mm of rain, that's quite a lot. Many rainy days and downpours last month.
For comparison. Here is the graph from 2022 august when we barely got any rain. A total of only 14.5mm in this month.
Wind
The wind has been a bit stronger than average in August. The strongest gust has been 16.3m/sec.
A big majority of the wind seems to blow from the south.
Air Pressure
The start of the month had a pretty low pressure for a while. The remainder of the month was pretty regular.

I can imagine if you are doing this guessing game for a year now and you have gone through all stats… repeating them can get boring. I understand fully.

Weather is still hot here but at the end of September, winter sprouts.
Colder temps slowly creep on here but sometimes september can be real hot still.

The weather started to get cooler now. a couple of weeks ago, it was hard to sit without out fan turned on. but now we can sit without out fan. thanks for your weather analysis.
We have had days like that this summer but such heat probably won't come anymore this year.
