Success defined. What's ahead

Hello everyone, it's feels so amazing to be among great minds like yours and am hoping that I would be able to inspire you after scrolling through with me to do or be better.

She was just in primary school, was in one of the best schools in town, had one of the best peer in the class, always had a playful moment during break period, mummy always put food in her lunch box which made it that she always took food to school and is never left out during break time, she and her friends shared their food in love and joy, so at that moment that was the prime of having it all and been successful because I mean that's all a child desires for no responsibility, nothing else to think about and nothing could be exchanged for those precious memories.

Got to her teens even though still in her secondary school admired those who were independent, the will to do anything you want, go anywhere you want, take decisions on your own without having anyone to ask you questions or cautious you, was what excited her the most. She was so eager to get to her twenties not knowing what awaits her was beyond those fantasies, she termed getting to her twenties and been independent or would I say having freedom her success, should we have told her? But am guessing she wasn't informed.

Got to her twenties and life hits her hard, no one had to tell her she quickly changed her bases on success, I mean she had responsibilities here and there, she had to cater for someone else at this point not only thinking about herself, she termed success as attaining a balance whereby you are earning, you have probably finished schooling, achieve your dreams (maybe I want to be a doctor, lawyer, banker, nurse, teacher...) And is recognized in the society.

What truly matters now?
After shading light on what success has been carried as, how i see it as now is what I would be throwing more lights on. What truly matters to me now as success is been able to pay my own bills that's been independent, been able to support at home like I mean my parents has been the one struggling and having to go overboard for me over the years it would only be a thing of joy that I can now support them so as enabling them to rest, everyone has a dream some big some small and mine is just in a big scale of preference so at the point where I get to achieve my dreams become the kind of lady I want to be, that would bring me to a level of satisfaction and that would be success to me, having to mold a good steps for the younger ones to follow, to encourage them that it's possible to get there on a clean slate is a big success for me.

It's not all about the big houses, the properties here and there, the fame, the connection but the satisfaction, the joy, the fulfilment that comes with it that matters and when that satisfaction is there that's what I call success, we are all in that race and we are hoping to get there.
