DIY contest: Tulip flowers, a symbol of peace 🌷🌷🌷
Saludos hivers creativos, es un placer estar nuevamente en esta comunidad y sobre todo participando en el concurso que promueve cada mes la familia @diyhub llenando así la comunidad de múltiples ideas en cada tema.
Greetings creative hivers, it is a pleasure to be back in this community and especially participating in the contest that promotes each month the @diyhub family, filling the community with multiple ideas in each topic.
Aún quedan días del mes de enero, por lo que el concurso aún está vigente y para él, se quiere resaltar el Día Mundial de la Paz, el cual se celebra cada 1 de enero. Estamos viviendo tiempos difíciles a nivel mundial por diversas razones y esto nos causa angustias, preocupaciones y mucho estrés; el mundo necesita mucha paz, mucho amor y empatía para ir mejorando de a poco; y a su vez este sea un lugar placentero para la convivencia.
There are still days left in the month of January, so the contest is still in force and for it, we want to highlight the World Day of Peace, which is celebrated every January 1st. We are living difficult times worldwide for various reasons and this causes us anguish, worries and stress; the world needs a lot of peace, love and empathy to improve little by little; and in turn this is a pleasant place for coexistence.
Para este concurso elegí trabajar con la técnica del origami porque es una práctica que permite sentir la sensación de paz y tranquilidad a través de la concentración y la habilidad de la creación de figuras, que este caso son tulipanes blancos los cuales significan pureza, elegancia y paz.
For this contest I chose to work with the origami technique because it is a practice that allows you to feel the sensation of peace and tranquility through concentration and the ability to create figures, which in this case are white tulips which mean purity, elegance and peace.
El tulipán es una flor sencillamente hermosa que le da vida a cualquier entorno, tanto así que estos son muy usados para los ramos de flores de las novias el día de su boda, porque el color blanco es el color del amor, de la sinceridad, la inocencia y bondad; además que conservar tulipanes en nuestro hogar es símbolo de tranquilidad y buena vibra.
The tulip is a simply beautiful flower that gives life to any environment, so much so that they are widely used for the bouquets of brides on their wedding day, because the color white is the color of love, sincerity, innocence and kindness; besides keeping tulips in our home is a symbol of tranquility and good vibes.

Crayones de color verde claro y verde oscuro

Para realizar la flor de tulipán, vamos a necesitar un cuadrado de 10 centímetros; el cual doblaremos de manera vertical, horizontal y diagonal para obtener una X y una cruz.
To make the tulip flower, we will need a 10-centimeter square, which we will fold vertically, horizontally and diagonally to obtain an X and a cross.
Lo siguiente será darle forma a la X ayudándonos con los dedos para poder doblar hasta obtener un triángulo.
The next step is to shape the X using your fingers to bend it into a triangle.
El triángulo que recién hicimos quedo doble, así que tomamos la primera parte que está dividida en dos para llevar punta cada lateral hasta la parte superior; formando así un rombo, giramos la pieza y repetimos el proceso por el otro lado.
The triangle we just made was double, so we take the first part that is divided in two to bring each side point to the top; thus forming a rhombus, we turn the piece and repeat the process on the other side.
Por los costados se pueden visualizar las capas que quedaron de los dobleces anteriores, lo que haremos ahora será acostar la pieza para pasar las capas como si fuesen las hojas de un libro; esto lo haremos solo dos veces.
On the sides you can see the layers left from the previous folds, what we will do now is to lay down the piece to pass the layers as if they were the pages of a book; we will do this only twice.
Ahora, guiados por la línea horizontal del rombo, llevamos primero una punta traspasando la línea del centro, de modo que al traer la otra punta, esta quede encima de la primera.
Now, guided by the horizontal line of the rhombus, we first bring one point across the center line, so that when we bring the other point, it will be on top of the first one.
En la primera imagen de este paso, se puede apreciar como el doblez que realizamos anteriormente dejo una especie de bolsillo el cual nos permitira introducir la punta opuesta para asegurar lo que seran los petalos de la flor.

La primera imagen muestra la pieza con una parte superior más angosta y en la inferior más ancha; de hecho, con un triángulo, así que tomamos la pieza por la parte inferior con los dedos pulgar e índice y hacemos un poco de presión, en el centro se puede ver claramente un pequeño orificio por el cual vamos a soplar para inflar el cuerpo de la flor.

Acá se ve que se formó un cuadrado el cual aplanamos con los dedos, evitando que se hunda, ya que esta es la base de la flor.

Si acostamos la flor, se visualizan los pétalos y para abrirlos la paramos; abrimos los pétalos y le damos forma.

Para las hojas, tomamos un rectángulo, coloreamos de verde claro y de allí cortamos con la tijera dos hojas a las que doblamos a la mitad para que quede una línea marcada igual que la de las hojas de las plantas.
For the leaves, we take a rectangle, color it light green and from there we cut two leaves with the scissors and fold them in half so that there is a marked line just like the leaves of the plants.
Para hacer la rama que sostiene la flor, tomamos un rectángulo de hoja blanca, más grande que el anterior, coloreamos con crayón verde oscuro y para formar la rama, colocamos pega en la punta y con ayuda del palito de altura enrollamos hasta llegar al final donde pondremos más pega para asegurar.
To make the branch that holds the flower, we take a rectangle of white leaf, larger than the previous one, we color with dark green crayon and to form the branch, we put glue on the tip and with the help of the height stick we roll until we reach the end where we will put more glue to secure it.
Colocamos pega a la rama en la punta y la insertamos en el orificio por donde soplamos para inflar la flor.
We put glue on the branch at the tip and insert it into the hole through which we blow to inflate the flower.
En este paso, uniremos las hojas a la rama y para ello le colocamos pega para adherirlas y por último le damos forma con los dedos.
In this step, we will attach the leaves to the branch and for this we put glue to adhere them and finally we shape them with our fingers.
