Hello Reflection Hunters. It's been quite a while since I last joined this contest, the Reflection Hunters Contest, hosted by @olgavita. This is Round 128 already while my last participation was still in Round 101. Long long time. But I'm really glad to be back. I missed this challenge so much. For those who still do not know this, check out the contest post with the rules here. Do read up and join in the fun.

Last April, my daughter who works in Germany, visited Athens, Greece. She wanted to see the Parthenon and the other ancient landmarks in the place. She went on a guided tour of the place, referred to as the "Acropolis of Athens". Here's what Wikipedia says about this.

The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens, Greece, and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical significance, the most famous being the Parthenon. Wikipedia

The tour included a visit to the Acropolis Museum which used to be just beside the Parthenon but later transferred about 300 meters away from the Acropolis site.

The Acropolis Museum is actually an archaeological museum primarily focusing on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum's purpose was to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. The Acropolis Museum also lies over the ruins of part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens and is showcased by a glass ramp over them so tourists and visitors can view them from the ramp.

Here are some photos of tourists and visitors walking on the glass ramp and viewing the ruins below.

Visitors can also actually go down to the ruins for a closer view.

After going through the photos my daughter sent, I noticed that the glass ramp was giving off some cool reflections and I decided to enter the photo below as my entry to this week's competition.

I did mention earlier that my last participation in this contest was in Round 101. My feature then was also about a visit my daughter made in Venice, Italy and the reflections caught on the waterways there. And now, from Venice we have a chance to visit Athens, Greece. I hope you enjoyed this. Good luck to all the participants. Stay safe and may peace be with you all.
