- - Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - -

After we got success in our first ever contest (the new year themed contest), now that we've found a dedicated sponsor for weekly contest, we've decided to announce a weekly contest every Friday with a dedicated theme for each week.

- - Theme: Night Photography - -

Not every game gives you moonlit beauty but I know there are some games that allows you to embark in the night, which tells me this theme might not be easier for everyone but some gamers should be happy to get this theme. You can choose the milky way, the ever-alone moon, the darkness, some horror scenes, beautiful lighting in night for this theme.

You'll just have to show us your gaming photography including screenshots of Night Photography by any means.

Rules:
As it's a contest, there should be some rules to follow, right? And these rules are not meant to be broken, lol.

  • Publish a post in Gaming Photography Community showing some gaming photographs following the theme.
  • Add the #gamingphotocontest and #contest in first five tags and then add tags suitable to your post.
  • The post needs to be published through ecency frontend (UPDATED) which will help the community account earning some ecency points that might help to boost one of your content someday or may go to the prize pool and you'll earn some points as well doing that.
  • The post must be written in English (you can use other translations alongside English if you wish to).
  • The post should have at least 350 original words in per language (excluding Hi, Hello, or some common things that you use in your post). You can talk about behind-the-scenes of how you implemented the idea to meet the word counts.
  • Show at least seven photos showing some seven . They can be photos from seven different moments or can be a single moment from seven different angles.
  • Leave your entry as a comment to this announcement post so we don't miss your entry.
  • Attach the link of this announcement post in your entry so your readers can check this out.
  • Mention some of your gamer friends in Hive in your post that you think might be interested in joining the contest (not mandatory).

Rewards:
I bet you want to know what you'll get as a reward after winning or joining the contest so here we are.

  • Upvotes from our dedicated sponsor, @Qurator (thanks to @scrooger).

    • The Winner = 30% upvote, 1st Runner UP = 20% upvote, 2nd Runner UP = 10% upvote.
  • Total 1000 Ecency Points.

    • The Winner = 500 Points, 1st Runner UP = 300 Points, 2nd Runner UP = 200 Points.
  • Possible curation (from other curation services) for all valid entries that has decent effort (not guaranteed).

  • Use #indiaunited tag in first five tags to get a good chance of curation from India United community. Subject to quality and resources availability (thanks to @theindiankid, a curator of India United)

Current Sponsors: @Qurator is our dedicated sponsor for the weekly contests who'll upvote first 3 winners every week, @gamingphoto = 150 ecency points, @melinda010100 (from ecency team) = 750 ecency points.

Big thanks to @melinda010100 (from ecency team) for adding 10000 ecency points to our prize pool which will not be giving away in a single contest.

We'll have 750 points from that fund every week and if anyone else adds any more points then they'll be added to the weekly prize pool.

Do give them a thumbs up and I suggest everyone to use ecency to get a better experience of hive blockchain and earn daily rewards (ecency points) by actively using ecency.

We're looking for more sponsors and we'll keep looking throughout the deadline of the contest so there is a chance for he rewards to increase later. If you wish to be a part of the sponsors (no matter how little it is), send it to @gamingphoto with the memo "contest" and I'll update it in this post.

Deadline to join the contest is: 5 days (120 hours) after this post is announced.

We suggest you (members of the community and contestants of the contest) to check what others are contributing to this community and engage with them through your comments, upvotes, and follows which would make the community stronger in the long run.

Well, I look forward to taking pictures in the dark of night, hope I don't get mugged and have my camera stolen XD! Excellent theme, always looking for every beautiful detail in video games, and let me tell you there are some that you have fantastic starry skies to look at

While virtual muggings might not be a concern, it's always a good idea to watch out for any in-game dangers. Good luck with your night photography.
