The first month of 2024 is already gone! What happened?! Well, I hope that 2024 is off to a good start for everyone, and that we continue to do what’s in our power to make this year a great one.

So, this is once again a simple reminder about a couple of things so that we can properly account for your upcoming rewards which will be coming around over the next few days.

Please Let Me Know How Many Members You’ve Referred!

One of our contests is the Monthly Promotion Contest. We’re looking for our members to refer others to this community. We regularly reward 2 HSBI per member who is referred and joins the community, but the one who makes the most referrals wins 5 HSBI, 1000 Ecency points, and 5 DVS! Remember that we’re counting referrals only for the past month (i.e. January), rather than lifetime referrals.

While we continue to have clear winners, I’m 100% confident that more people were referred than were accounted for. So, please let us know whom you know that you’ve referred; and, if someone referred you here, please let us know so they can get credit!

A Brief Preview of Upcoming Developments

We’re gradually continuing work on our mental health initiative, and I will attempt to create a flowsheet of steps for our members to take for various situations. Additionally, I’ll try to start some funding for the position so that it can pay out in HBD in the early part of this year.

Our financial account has been useful in helping us maintain funding for the community; however, we’re certainly not at a breakeven point and I’ll still be adding to the community from my personal funds.

I’ve also brought up the idea of a possible delegation schematic to support fc-curation. This is in the works… no ETA yet.

Finally, the long-awaited Threads contest is going to come this month. It has some potentially big surprises which the Leo community has agreed to sponsor. I’ll definitely make sure to post this in the first half of February.

Reward Delay

Due to an extremely busy first week of February on my personal end, I’m likely not going to send out the monthly rewards on time; it may be delayed by about a week or so. I’ll certainly keep you posted when I do send them out. I won’t forget!
