I LOVE CEREAL - STARTING THE DIET (ENG/ESP)🥘👩🍳💯
Hello my dear foodie friends, how is that diet going? Those extra kilos? Have you already come back to reality or are you still on that insatiable holiday binge? 🤣 Whatever your answer is, the reality is that some of us later or others today must return to the reality that will accompany us this 2024 so we must do it in the best way possible.
You have talked about the need to take care of ourselves and have healthy meals, I for my part, have been attentive to show alternatives so as not to be repetitive in meals, although I must admit that we were also faced with carbohydrates, fats, oils, but how do we say no to their taste? And the worst, thinking about how to get back to our normal rhythm with those promises we always make of "this is the year of the gym and the sale" 🤣.
Well, this product that I bring you today, is one of my favourites for breakfast and the return to normality when all day is What's for breakfast? and on the 1st of February the answer is still HALLACA 😒.
Hola mis queridos amigos #foodies ¿Cómo va esa dieta? ¿Esos kilos demás? ¿Ya volvieron a la realidad o siguen con esa comedera insaciable de las fiestas? 🤣 Sea cual sea su respuesta, la realidad es que unos mas tarde u otros hoy mismo debemos volver a la realidad que nos acompañará este 2024 así que debemos hacerlo de la mejor manera. Ustedes han hablado de la necesidad de cuidarnos y tener comidas saludables, yo por mi parte, he estado pendiente de mostrar alternativas para no ser repetitivos en las comidas, aunque debo admitir que igualmente nos enfrentabamos a los carbohidratos, grasas, aceites, pero ¿Cómo le decimos que no a su sabor? Y lo peor, de pensar en cómo volver a nuestro ritmo normal con aquellas promesas que hacemos siempre de "este si es el año del gimnasio y la rebajada" 🤣.
Bueno, este producto que les traigo hoy, es uno de mis favoritos para el desayuno y la vuelta a la normalidad cuando todo el día es ¿Qué hay de desayuno? y el 1 de febrero la respuesta sigue siendo HALLACA 😒.
My cereals
I've always liked them. Since I was a child, I've eaten them, although on their own, because milk was not my favourite companion. In my Venezuela before, when I was at university, I started to do crazy diets and some exercise, where I took the opportunity to change the traditional and routine arepa for cereal.
Mis cereales Siempre me han gustado. desde pequeña los consumo aunque solos porque la leche no era mi acompañante favorito. En mi Venezuela de antes, cuando estaba en la universidad, comencé a hacer dietas locas y algún que otro ejercicio, donde aprovechaba para cambiar la tradicional y rutinaria arepa por el cereal.
One of my first encounters was with Kellogg's cereals. These are spectacular because they are wholegrain, provide a lot of fibre and are more health-oriented than commercial cereals that even include sugar, which I don't like.
I tried this particular one in Bogotá because I haven't seen it here. It was love at first sight in terms of design, size, flavour, flakes that do not disintegrate easily, accompanied by some nuts that make its flavour and consistency unique.
This other presentation is even better because it comes with dehydrated strawberries. I was really amazed because I thought the fruits were only eaten fresh from the market, but no. They come just like a flake. They come just like a flake but once they have their contact with the milk, they become so soft that they almost melt in your mouth 😌. The important thing is that they come with plenty of strawberries, which makes them quite enjoyable to taste.
For the 20 points and five stars I loved it! 😍.
Uno de mis primero encuentro fue con los cereales Kellogg´s. Estos son espectaculares porque son integrales, proveen bastante fibras y su orientación es mas a lo saludable que a lo comercial como son los cereales que traen hasta azúcar incluida, esos no me gustan. Este en particular lo probé en Bogotá porque aquí no lo he visto. Fue amor a primera vista en cuanto a diseño, tamaño, sabor, hojuelas que no se desintegran fácilmente, acompañados de algunas nueces que hacen que su sabor y consistencia sea único.
Esta otra presentación esta mejor porque viene acompañado de fresas deshidratadas. Estaba bien asombrada porque pensé que las frutas solo se comían frescas del mercado, pero no. Vienen igual a una hojuela pero una vez que tienen su contacto con la leche, se vuelven tan suaves que casi se deshacen en la boca 😌. Lo importante es que trae bastantes fresas, lo que hacen que se disfruten bastante su sabor. Para el 20 puntos y cinco estrellas ¡Lo amé! 😍.
Another one of my favourites is this one called "Honey Bunches Of Oats" which I tried recently. I love it because it has all the characteristics of the previous one, with plenty of almonds and crispys that make this cereal delicious. The best thing is that it comes in an extra large presentation so I can enjoy a lot of its flavour in several portions.
I also like its consistency and that despite eating it with hot milk, the flakes stay intact for a long time allowing me to enjoy them and their flavour. They have other flavours but for me I only like this one. In some bodegones and department stores I have seen them for more than $10 (the small presentation) but it is a taste that is worth it.
For their taste, consistency, size, ingredients, and even beautiful design I still give them a 5 star rating because I also love them.
Otro de mis favoritos, es este llamado "Honey Bunches Of Oats" que probé hace poco. Me encanta porque tiene todas las características del anterior, trayendo bastante pero bastantes almendras y crispys que hacen este cereal delicioso. Lo mejor es que viene en una presentación extra grande por eso puedo disfrutar mucho de su sabor en varias porciones. También me gusta su consistencia y que a pesar de comerlo con leche caliente, sus hojuelas quedan intactas por mucho tiempo permitiendo disfrutar de ellas y su sabor. Tienen otros sabores pero para mí me gusta solo este. En algunos bodegones y tiendas departamentales los he visto por más de $10 (la presentación pequeña) pero es un gusto que vale la pena. Por su sabor, consistencia, tamaño, ingredientes, y hasta diseño bonito les sigo dando un 5 estrellas porque también me encanta.
Now, in the age of gluten and all these things that cause damage to our organism, these products are coming out to be able to feed us without having collateral consequences after eating them.
First time I see them but their presentation speaks of the wonders that "Cheerios" offers us with their products that have alternatives such as low cholesterol, proteins, vitamins, fibres, minerals, that we say wao! or we cure ourselves or we cure ourselves.
These two presentations are oriented to gluten free, which I love. This one is different, I don't know if it's because of its composition, but its flavour is somewhat insipid, that is to say, it tastes like strawberry, but not the kind of strawberry that makes your taste buds tingle or itch, it's like a mild strawberry flavour.
Another point against it is that we have to use a lot of cereal to fill the dish. I mean, with the previous ones, two handfuls is always enough to be full, in this case I have to eat about 5 handfuls! to be able to feel that I am eating something and not just milk, which I feel that it runs out quickly. Also, I feel like they fall apart just by touching the milk so I end up applying more than I should.
In shops they are $5 but I haven't seen them here in the country. If they arrived, I think I would pass them up and go for the more expensive ones that I like 😋.
Ahora, en la era del gluten y todas estas cosas que nos ocasionan daños en nuestro organismo, estan saliendo estos productos para poder alimentarnos sin tener consecuencias colaterales después de comerlos. Primera vez que los veo pero su presentación habla de las maravillas que nos ofrece "Cheerios" con sus productos que tienen alternativas como baja en colesterol, proteinas, vitaminas, fibras, minerales, que digamos ¡wao! o nos curamos o nos curamos.
Estas dos presentaciones estan orientadas al libre de gluten, cosa que me encanta. Esta es distinta no sé si por su composición pero su sabor es algo insípido, es decir, sabe a fresa pero no aquella fresa que da dentera o algun picor en las papilas gustativas, es como un sabor a fresa suave. Otro punto en contra es que debemos echar mucho pero mucho cereal para poder llenar el plato. Me explico, con los anteriores siempre dos puñados es suficiente para quedar llena, en este caso debo echar como ¡5 puñados! para poder sentir que estoy comiendo algo y no leche sola, cosa que siento que se acaba rápido. Además, siento que se deshacen solo con tocar la leche por eso es que termino aplicando mas de la cuenta. En las tiendas cuestan $5 pero no los he visto aquí en el país. Si llegaran, creo que los dejaría pasar y me íria por los más costosos que me agradan 😋.
