SO HAPPY TOGETHER~~~Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 146

Hello fellow birdwatchers,
I hope life is treating you well.

The theme for this week's #smap photo contest is TOGETHER.
A flock of birds, a pair of birds, random birds that are hanging out together, or maybe sharing a meal together.

SO HAPPY TOGETHER, HOW IS THE WEATHER...

It always surprises me to see how much winter bird activity goes on during the cold season. The woodpeckers, chickadees as well as the blue jays stick around and do just fine even in a snowstorm.

Here on the #homestead we keep the seed and suet stocked up, our little #featheredfriends will not go hungry. They love stopping in for a bite and seem to know how to mind their manners and share.

I am pretty pleased with my photos today. I was out freezing my butt off to capture these cuties. We had a few inches of snow overnight, the trees and ground look beautiful with the white decorations.

The snow will stick around for a while, high today is at the freezing mark, it was 25 when I shot the photos. Pretty cold, I know, but this is actually warm compared to what's to come. It's the single digits I fear.

Enjoy the Holidays all you wonderful #hivers, maybe we will have a white Christmas.

Wonderful winter photos, just like postcards. 🙂
I love to see the activities around your feeders. The birds got the best service in your homestead.😀
I missed your entries and I am so happy you are back.

Oh girlfriend, it feels good to be getting back in.
Things have been tuff this year for me, and I don't like to post if I don't feel good.

It's so nice to know I truly have some hive friends that allow me to vent and share with, means a lot to me.

Neli, you do such a wonderful job for the community, thank you!

I have the feeders up this year. I put a call in to the Fish & Wildlife and he said the bears are still about. So now I’m worried about the feeders… Dunno if we can get them raised in time…

But they were covered with birds at mid morning today.

It's so weird to me that we don't see bear at all up here, we saw more in Jersey, go figure.

I hope you are well and enjoying life, you are a special lady in my book.

When I spoke to the Fish & Wildlife guy, he said it's all driven by food sources when it comes to bears. Though I can't imagine there's a lack in your area...

Good morning my friend.
I know there are bears here but there is plenty for them to eat in the forests that surround us. I am sure that's why we don't see them.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

The birds are such fun to watch, I keep waiting for the cardinals to show up. I know they stick around in the winter.

Blessings to you and your family.

Always a few birds remain in one place year round here, we do enjoy migratory birds when they arrive or leave it is evident with season change.

Have a wonderful holiday in warmer region and relax over Christmas, hopefully family around taking up many of the tasks.
