Its in the "Appendix"

A very rich man had moved into my neighbourhood, and coincidentally his bedroom window was next to mine. And whenever he used to talk loudly, I could hear some of his words. It is not a good thing to listen to the household talk of the neighbour, but still, I used to hear by chance.

One day my neighbor was crying a lot at night, I came to know that he was having a stomach and was also having a high fever. Since I was related to the medical department, I understood that he was suffering from a serious illness of appendix pain, so I went straight to his house and rang the bell. The neighbour's wife opened the door for me.

Our entire digestive system helps our immune system, the appendix is the place inside our body to store some healthy types of gut bacteria, which can get altered during certain intestinal diseases or due to excessive use of antibiotics.

In ancient times, when our ancestors used to eat raw meat, it was helpful in digesting raw meat, but now it remains inactive due to its non-use.
