At what age do you think sex education should begin for young people?
The vast majority of mothers and fathers of our time, if there is one thing we all agree on, it is that we should talk about sexuality with our children, but many disagree on the ages for me the younger the better to teach them the correct name of their genitals no one should touch them nor they touch their peers times have changed and the more we hide things the more we do damage because we live in a digital environment that is brutally sexualized and it seems that every time it gets worse novels movies advertising music videos of your favorite singer or girls with little clothes doing lap dances and our children replicate these behaviors as if it were the most normal thing in the world they adopt roles for which they are not prepared psychologically.

Sexuality is not only the erotic act, nor only a sexual encounter; sexuality is knowing our body and respecting it. I believe that sexuality, as the sexual relationship as such, begins to draw attention in adolescence; this is an undeniable reality when we already develop and, although biologically, in theory can reproduce, it is still just children playing at becoming adults. That is why we see many cases in many parts of the world of girls with early pregnancies. And part of the problem is the carelessness of many parents and the poor sex education that is given. You always explain how to use a condom and the emergency pill, but would it be better to teach them to explore their sexuality when they can get a career and have a profession they can live off of? Somehow, there is some pressure to have sex at a young age. That's why as mothers and fathers we should take the initiative and introduce the topic of sexuality before a third party, whether it's the internet or a friend at school, because that gives us the upper hand and creates a great bond of trust with our children because they will identify us as a clear and reliable source of information. It is very normal that young people have many questions and go with their questions to the source that gives them the information so it is extremely important that we as mothers and fathers without fear or taboos give them all the information they need and not their environment that can confuse them unfortunately many times we postpone this issue either out of fear or not knowing how to approach the subject or because we think they are too young and we must understand that this is part of our responsibility as parents to act before it is too late.
