Week 270 of the Splinterlands Art Contest - My Entry; Twisted Jester

Some time back I made my first piece of the Twisted Jester. I made it with a bitchy vibe and a moody reference. This time however while I was painting this my brother (Timothy) reminded me that the character in question is a fearful one. Because I didn't have this in mind at the beginning I made sure to add some blood in it, a little actually.

I basically had no ideas for a background so I thought of putting the character under a spotlight and almost instantly The Jokers' line ran through my thoughts and I thought "Why so serious". In this case however, I wrote "Gotcha".
