Ladies of Hive Community Contest #146 ~ May 24th

When was the last time you were pampered with flowers and a thoughtful gift that did not come with "strings attached" (e.g.: a condition)?

Both things happened to me on the 24th of May 2023, both my closest friends (Male and Female) made that day beautiful and exceptional. Although I am not one with a lot of expectations on such days, but I got a beautiful note and a gift from my male friend, without the flower of course, I guess we are not big fans of these flowers stuff.

But I was more than surprised when my friend called me and asked me where I was, I told him I was in school and he said if I was free to see him, yeah I said.

I got out of school to go meet him in a street not far from my school and he said, that he didn't have much but just felt like getting me a gift for my birthday, lo and behold, my friend got me a beautiful Crocs.

I wanted it so badly and I had plans of getting it, very much I never told him about it but getting that as a birthday present was not part of the plan and he gave me a beautiful letter addressed to me.

I was so happy throughout the day because it was something I never expected and grateful to him for making that day special for me, apart from that day, this particular friend of mine always comes through for me even when I least expect it from him and I am glad I have such a good friend with no strings attached.
