| Первый день в Твери 30 июня 2023 года был для нас с подругой очень насыщенным. Мы прошли пешком по центру города, мы осмотрели большой и очень насыщенный музей в Императорском путевом дворце. Эти кадры сняты, когда мы вышли из музея на омытую дождем набережную. Вышло солнце и осветило уходящие тучи, Волгу, город и Новый мост через реку. Этот городской и вид от памятника Пушкину в любое время очень хорош. Но при таком освещении он был восхитительно красив. | The first day in Tver on June 30, 2023 was very eventful for me and my friend. We walked through the center of the city, we examined a large and very rich museum in the Imperial Travel Palace. These shots were taken when we left the museum on the embankment washed by rain. The sun came out and illuminated the departing clouds, the Volga, the city and the New Bridge across the river. This city and the view from the monument to Pushkin is very good at any time. But in this light, he was delightfully beautiful. |

| Новый Волжский мост в Твери был построен в 1953—1956 годах. Интересно, что для него использованы старые чугунные пролёты середины XIX века от бывшего Благовещенского моста, который ранее находился в Ленинградe. В 1939 году в Ленинграде закончилась перестройка старого моста, а хорошо сохранившиеся арочные конструкции из чугуна решили повторно использовать для моста в Калинине (так тогда называлась Тверь). Война задержала строительство. В 1956 году открылось автомобильное движение по Новому мосту. | The new Volga bridge in Tver was built in 1953-1956. It is interesting that the old cast-iron spans of the middle of the 19th century from the former Blagoveshchensky bridge, which was previously located in Leningrad, were used for it. In 1939, the rebuilding of the old bridge in Leningrad was completed, and it was decided to reuse the well-preserved arched structures made of cast iron for the bridge in Kalinin (as Tver was then called). The war delayed construction. In 1956, motor traffic was opened on the New Bridge. |

| И, конечно, великолепны освещенные солнцем здания около моста. Мы видим кинотеатр Звезда, построенный по проекту архитектора В.П. Калмыкова в 1937 году. Это был типовой проект в стиле конструктивизма. Подобные здания есть в разных городах бывшего СССР. В Твери кинотеатр стоит на берегу и вид на него отличный. | And, of course, the magnificent sun-lit buildings near the bridge. We see the Zvezda cinema, designed by the architect V.P. Kalmykov in 1937. It was a typical project in the style of constructivism. There are similar buildings in different cities of the former USSR. In Tver, the cinema stands on the shore and the view is excellent. |
| За ним здание с колоннами – Дом ворошиловских стрелков. Это так же наследие СССР. Дом построен в 1935 году на месте провиантских складов, в нём разместили квартиры для офицеров и военных специалистов. Все фасады здания оформлены как парадные, что украсило набережную Волги. | Behind it is a building with columns - the House of the Voroshilov Riflemen. This is also the legacy of the USSR. The house was built in 1935 on the site of food warehouses, it housed apartments for officers and military specialists. All facades of the building are decorated as front facade. This adorned the Volga embankment. |
