Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Этим летом я впервые побывала на Валааме. Мы провели там день в рамках круиза.	This summer I visited Valaam for the first time. We spent a day there as part of a cruise.
В первой половине у нас была экскурсия, на которой мы знакомились с природой этого необыкновенного острова.	In the first half we had an excursion where we got to know the nature of this extraordinary island.

По дороге к Скалистому берегу мы подошли к небольшому озеру посреди леса.	On the way to the Rocky Coast we came to a small lake in the middle of the forest.
Погода была пасмурная и дождливая. В гладкой воде отражалось серое небо и деревья, окружающие озеро.	The weather was cloudy and rainy. The smooth water reflected the gray sky and trees surrounding the lake.

Это озеро называется Никоновское. В начале 19 века неподалеку в пещере проживал Иеросхимонах Никон, получивший благословение на пустынножительство.

This lake is called Nikonovskoye. At the beginning of the 19th century, Hieroschemamonk Nikon lived nearby in a cave, who received a blessing to live in the desert.
